Can you please some more information the Raman Ayanamsha you use, You said 397 is the year of coinciding but dint give exact date. Jagannatha Hora gives, January 1, 397 Ayanamsa: 0-05-51.94 December 31, 397 Ayanamsa: 0-06-36.29 43' 55 " difference when I use two extremes. You said " the value I use deviates by about 6-8 " . The Maximum deviation in JHora is about 6' 36.29 " , Where as you say you use about 8' So Can you please throw some light on this. Thank you for your paper. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, For general information about Raman Ayanamsa, I refer you to revered grandfather’s book “A Manual of Hindu Astrology”. For the year 2005, the Raman Ayanamsa is 22-28-57 while Jagannatha Hora gives 22-28-28, a difference of about 29 seconds, which is negligible.
