When Saturn is the AK, it is always in marana karaka sthana from itself, so, is the native definitely destined to suffer in related areas? Or is the applicability limited only to AmK and DK? Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It brought into sharp focus what Sanjay ji was talking about. If Saturn were not weak, would the effect have been different? The fact that there is a parivartana between lagna lord and 10th lord also impacted your career most? In dasamsa too, Mercury is in 8th house from dasamsa lagna while Sun is in 12th...do you think that could have indicated/induced the break in career? BTW, you have a lovely chart, with 4 planets in exaltation.Wow! I too read gurudev's darakaraka paper and noted the point that any houses,padas,planets placed in MKS from AK will get destroyed.I was just thinking about that and experimenting that with some charts. Below points are my humble observations.I'll share that with all..pls correct me if i go wrong. I think we need to check the OTHER role of AK.For Ex. Yogakaraka,Bhadakesh,involvement in Raja Yogas etc. In your case,Saturn(10 & 11th lord) is your Bhadakesh too..is combined with Mercury(3rd 6th lord) and Sun(5th lord).In this combination saturn gives the results of Mercury and Mercury gives the results of saturn.Sun gives its own results.So,in Mer Shastihayani dasa it has given you some obstacles and in Sun anthar dasa you lost your job.Sun is your 12th lord in D10 which is in 12th house..He is the Maraka planet for 6th house(Service).This could be one of the reason for why you lost your job in Mer-Sun..I may be wrong here but i gave my observations. Please share your experience of Saturn Periods(Which gives the results of Mercury).Also pls let us know whether you had any health problems during Mer periods ? In My case,My dear AK Saturn is with Sun(Amk) in third house which is also my AL and A5.To my knowledge,the only problem which i have related to 3rd house is, my younger brother is not educated and his fortune is not good.He is really struggling to settle in life.By god's grace i have no major problems in my Service Profession.I don't know what will happen in future.Right now i am in my Sat-Mars Dwi-Saptati dasa and Rahu-Sat Vimshotari dasa.My Sat-Sun in Dwi-saptati was really very nice period in terms of my profession. Saturn is my yogakaraka(9th and 10 lord) and he is involved in a Raja yoga and he is also one of my Maha Yogada.He aspects my 11th from AL.I find these are the main reasons why saturn is not creating major problems to me. My data is below.. Date of Birth : 8/8/1977 Time of Birth : 0:27:55 IST ( 12 : 27 AM - Mid night of 7th Aug 1977) Place of Birth : Mayuram,Tamil Nadu,India. Longitude : 79 E 42 Latitude : 11 N 6 Another point which i was thinking after reading that rule is., What will happen to any existing Raja/Raja Sambandha Yogas ? Say saturn is AK and Lagna lord and he is in Lagna with Sasa Maha Purusha yoga..Will it still destroy the Lagna ?
