Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Prabhakara (:--),

What you have stated is very interesting...I never

noticed the similarity in the cycles of Moon & Saturn,

Sun & Jupiter earlier! Ofcourse, I did read from

Guruji's articles that Jupiter is a higher frequency

of Sun, but I never linked it to the cycles. Thanks

for letting me know.

10th house is definitely connected to pitri karma,

because I recall that the pinda pradaanam had to be

done at noon or around noon, when sun would be in

mid-heaven (10th house).

I really do not think Rahu can denote pitris, because

it is stated emphatically that pitris are

distinguished by their sattwa guna. Saturn is said to

be sattwa guni in signs of Jupiter (lord of

pitri-sthana), but i don't think Rahu can be termed a

sattwa guni ever:--))

I think " Pitri-state " is basically a soul-state and

nothing eclipses them. Infact, when sun enters 10th

house, Capricorn, Uttarayana, or the soul's journey

towards Deva loka begins. I think, it is re-birth,

when it happens, which sort of " eclipses " them, and

detours the soul from its real goal. So, Rahu for me,

indicates re-birth more than death.

Regarding moksha, I always believed that one need not

be dead to attain moksha...that state of liberation

can be achieved even when alive. Don't we have

examples of such jeevan muktas in our puranas?

Regards,

Lakshmi

Thanks & regards,

Lakshmi
