Dear gurus and fellow students, pranam

 

 

Here are some comments on the career puzzle:

 

Jupiter in house ten usually indicates a person involved in consciousness

raising work such

as teaching or writing or someone who is active in the business world, in

law or politics, provided

Jupiter is strong and unafflicted. Here Jupiter is debilitated in navamsha

and aspected by Rahu and

the tenth Lord is in the twelfth.

 

On one hand, this could indicate dealings with foreigners or foreign

countries

or contacts wit lower class (possibly criminal?) people.On the other hand,

it probably reduces the native´s

career prospects and fortune somewhat. In the appropriate dashas he may

change career or suffer

setbacks or incur losses after intitial success. His reputation at the time

may be tainted (though he is probably

not a bad person as the Sun and the 9th house in rashi and NA look ok to

me).

 

In general I assume this person enjoys a good reputation due to strength of

AL and amala yoga in

house 10.

Rise in life is seen from the relationship of AK and NA-lagnalord and

because it is 6/8 we have

an indication of ocassional setbacks or moderate rise in life. AK Moon in

12 in rashi and 9

in NA could mean that his mind is focussing on moksha or spiritual life and

this spiritual inclination

could be a drawback for his career, materially speaking. It could also mean

that he is not fully drawn

to success in the material world nor able to fully enjoy it and may at

times feel the urge to renounce the

world. He may not be able to do so permanently due to the weakness of

Jupiter and Saturn and the

conjunction of Venus and Mars which is really a passionate combination of

sense enjoyment.

Also some of the four planets which are conjunct and could cause sannyasa

yoga are badly combust.

So he will respect the sannyasa ashram but will nbot be able to adopt it

himself.

 

I would not be surprised if this person is from a noble and prosperous

family. All the karakas of father

(9 Lord, Sun and Pik) are powerful in house 11, house of gains in the regal

sign Leo.

The Raja yoga in house 11 involving the Lords of 2, 1, 9, 7 and 11

certainly looks great for

financial prosperity. Perhaps this person has prosperous parents and elder

siblings and

due to that is well settled financially himself. Even the spouse is also

likely to hail from the business

community.

 

If he is indeed from a high class family, he could be either in business

or politics but may not be as

successful as his father or siblings. Perhaps he works with his younger

brother (BK and 3 Lord in 10).

He is likely to have some management capacity (strong Sun, Mars and

Mercury).

If he is not from a special family he may be a person with technical

background who could work

either in the computer or communciations field or

teaching/writing/publishing.
