OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH

JAYA JAGANNATHA

Namaste Ash,

Already Mr.Zoran and Narasimha has replied to your questions. I will just add to them.

Narasimhaji as per the posting said that if the links wherein one considers the lords of GL and HL the yogas will be weaker. I do not understand the math. Weaker means existant and not absent. Plus as Narasimhaji, you and Guruji Sanjayji pointed out and hinted yogabhangas, debilation, combustion, retrogation must also be considered for predicting how weak or strong the actual yogada, mahayogada, karta, kevala, and kevala mahayogada would be.

As Mr.Zoran said, stick to the rule. A sign, its lord and its dispositor are all important and we should take into account all of them, but in the given order-sign, lord and dispositer. If you need I will explain this with example later. We will put this way, if a planet is MahaYogada and its dispositer is also is strong in exaltation or it is also a Mahayogada, then the first Mahayogada planet is definitely a strong and important yoga giver.

My question is that Do the Depositeres of the lords of HL and GL.For example when considering and Exalted planet, one also looks and studies the depositers, what if this case were to be existant wherein a planet is exalted but its depositer is debilitated, How strong would the effect of the exalted planet be. Pt. Zoran also has an article on gurujis website wherein he mentions the importance of the depositers and their strength is needed to transfer powers. This is my understanding. Please feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong in this aspect. So my question is, can one just say that just by association with the lords of HL and GL any of the mentioned yogada, maha yogadas, etc would be weak without considering their depsoiters. What if it were the case wherein the lords of HL and GL and lagna are considered and their depositers cojoin and aspect the lagna.

One thing, we must understand. This is only a lesson which deals with Yogada. Other issues are not considered, here. As Mr.Zoran mentioned this aspect of dispositer etc., comes under strength. As Gurudeva mentioned, the Yogada planet must be free from any dosha. So, all these strength and dosha to be considered in all matters. In Jyotish, we should not look at things in isolation. It should be collective. But, when you look at lesson, in order to master the lesson, we stick to the lesson rules. The rules of the lesson are basic. It will modify depending on the other nature of the chart. Moreover, for any yoga to fructify, Sun and Moon are to strong and well placed.

Regarding the 7th house. As per my understanding 7th from a house is the house of harmony, yes it is also the house of the spouse and partnerships. But then again, Narayana dasa and various other phalita dasa considers the stronger of the 1st and the 7th from it. What is the reason for that ?

Very good question. I will reproduce, a reply of Gurudeva for one of the questions of Gauranga das. It will clearly explain for your question.

PT.SANJAY RATH: "......the Sunrise (symbolising first house) or the sunset (symbolising seventh house) are the two houses of the Satya Peetha as these symbolise the Sun or the house aspected by the Sun (7th). This is the basis for choosing the stronger between the first and seventh house for the starting of all the various types of Rasi Dasa. These two houses become Satya Peetha and the Maya Pada (Arudha Pada) cannot fall in these houses. Thus this also teaches that the Arudha Pada of any house cannot fall in the same house or the seventh from it."

Thanks

Solai Kannan Your thoughts and comments on that. Thanks,Your Sisya,Ash
