Comments:- Why did you exclude Saturn and Sun? In fact all Planets are Karta for you. Saturn is the GL lord and Sun aspects HL.

 

QUESTION :[1] Why is only Rasi dristi considered and not Graha dristi ?

 

Comment:- Honestly, I don't know the answer. But, I will give here what I think is the answer and let the learned Gurus correct me.

Graha drishti is desire. Rasi drishti is permanent and it is inherent in the chart. In graha drishti, a malefic planet's drishti is malefic. Whereas, in rasi drishti, the planet inherits the drishti from the sign. So, the malefic or benefic nature depends on the Rasi. When we want to see the Yoga, we should see its permanency and it is seen from the Rasi drishti.

 

[2] For Scorpio and Aquarius do the Co-lords also have to be considered ?

Comment:-I think, yes. Whereas, in case of Subhapati, I think we should take the stronger one. As Narasimha said, the effect of these planets will be less.

 

Strictly speaking as per the lesson, you have only Ketu as Yogada. Ketu is the lord of HL conjoins Lagna.So, there is no Kevalyogada and no Mahayogada. I think your chart will be an unique chart, where all the planets are Karta, but only one is yogada. Rajiv Ghandi's ChartMoon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, ketu = Karta, Yogada, MahayogadaSun : karta, yogada, mahayogada, kevala and kevala mahagogadaketu : Mars, Saturn and Rahu do not qualify as karta.

Comment:- Perfect. But, Ketu is not the Mahayogada, it is only a yogada. King Abdullah's ChartShubpati = VenusMerc, sun, ketu, sat, mars, moon and jupiter all are yogadas, karata, mahagogadas as all planets aspect lagna scorpio from capricorn and are cojoined with mars lord of GL and Venus lord of HL and shubpati.Venus = kevala and kevala maha yogadaRahu = Aspects Lagna and lords of GL and HL hence qualifies as Mahayogada

Comment:- Because of the lordship problem, you have listed many planets as yogada and mahayogada. All planets are Karta as your chart. But, only Mars is the yogada and Venus is the Kevelayogada. Sanjay teaches that graha drishti shows a desire to

influence and rasi drishti shows a materialized

influence.

 

Graha drishti shows the desire of a planet due to its

inherent nature. Jupiter in lagna, for example,

influences putra and dharma sthanas because it is his

inherent nature. If Jupiter is in lagna and a planet

is in the 5th house, Jupiter will try to influence

Mars because of his inherent nature.

 

However, rasi drishti is different. Rasis aspected with

rasi aspect are not based on the inherent nature and

desire. They are based on where a planet is. Just as

everyone living in a house has a clear influence on

someone living in a neighboring house, all the planets

in a rasi have aspect on another rasi. This aspect is

not based on a planet's inherent nature and desire, but

based on where it is, what its surroundings are and what

it is capable of and entitled to. So rasi aspects are

more important.
