Guest guest
Dear Jaan, Namaste. I'm relpying to the list with your permission. > Dear Guru > > can we say straight of that fixed signs aspect the 3rd, 6th and 9th from > them, and moveable signs aspect the 5th, 8th and 11th from them as a rule? Yes, you can put it in this way, and dual signs adpect the 4th, 7th and 10th from them. But you can understand the underlying principle better by using the definitio that Maharishi Parashara gave. > i get the impression you put more weight on a rasi drishti than a graha > drishti? > if thats the case, i havent really been considering these aspects properly > before now. Consider both, and see the strength of the planets or houses involved. The point is that a Rasi Dristi's effects will always fructify, while the Graha Dristi's effects may remain only as a desitre, even if the planets are strong ( a strong desire in thata case). If the Rasi Drsiti is weak, the effect will always be there, but maybe still weak. > so for analysing from now on, i am to first look at rasi drishti then > consider graha drishti? > do i use rasi drishti for analysing yogas as far as apects go? It depends on the definition of the yoga. This is not always specified, and with certain yogas there is muc ambiguity. So you should be clear on the principles and do the Guru Mantra NICELY, THEN THE PROPER APPLICATION OF THE PRINCIPLES WILL EB REVEALED TO YOU. But you can send in any examples you have so that hte group could work on it. > ie mutual exhange of aspects between planets placed in 6/8 positions in > moveable or fixed signs? Yes. > do i use them in divisional charts too? Yes. > can u give me a couple of examples of how rasi drishti will differ from > graha drishti in the case of results of these aspects? > > in my chart i have graha drishti of mercury on 12th house and 12th lord > mars, and i have rasi drishti of lagnesh venus on the same combination. How > do i interpret the two results? Well, one of the meaning may be having an attractive spouse and being violent and p[assionate while mating with her (12th refers tp bed pleasures). Mercury and Mars being in mutual Graha Drishti in 6th/12th may indicate quarrel with enemies on money matters and consequent desire to commit some violence, which may result in loss. So because it's a Graha Drishti, this desire may be checked, and thus some losses may be avoided. But the previous effect is sure to menifest. Maybe others can add to this. > I also have exchange of rasi drishti between 7th and 12th lord mars and 1st > and 6th lord venus, plus mars also has 8th house graha drishti on venus. This was mostly explained above. > Do people like K N Rao and Dr B V Raman consider these aspects too in their > work? I do not know of KN Rao's works, I never studied them. BV Raman also does not mention it usually, maybe in his book on Jaimini Sutram. But no one can deny thta this is the first type of aspects that Parashara defines, even before analysing the effects of the houses. > love > Jaan Yours, Gauranga das > > > > > > >
