Please accept my obeisances.

 

Here are my answers to lesson #6.

1. Determine the Hora at the time of birth in your horoscope.Do the houses

ruled by the lord of the hora have any special significance in your life?

 

DOB Jan.15, 1955 5:17pm time zone6w 96W22 30N40.

My birth was on the day of Saturn in the Hora of Venus.

Yes,Venus is the lord of my 5th house and the dispostitor of my 9th lord

and, Atma karaka planet,ex Saturn. Venus also disposits my Moon.House of

children.This is an important house for me and since Im in my Sat major

period now,it is giving strong results.But since Sat is a malefic and also

owns the 8th ,my life is beset with obstacles.

 

3.Draw the chart for the swearing in time of the President of your nation

and determine the Hora/Hora lord.

 

I picked vice president Al Gore because the information was

available.Swearing in occured on 1-20-1993 11:44 am EDT Zone 5 in

Washington,D.C. according to Lois Rodden.

His swearing in was on the day of Mercury-wed. during the Hora of the Sun.

In the chart of the swearing in, the Sun as 5th lord is conj. in the 10th

with the 10th lord Sat.

Merc is combust with theSun in this house.The arudha lagna of this chart is

Leo.Arudha lord is Sun in 10th.

In his D-10 of his rasi chart Sun is ex in 11th house.

 

In the lesson you said " activities started during the Hora of the Rogesh

(8thlord) from the concerned Bhava shall suffer annihilation " Im not sure

if it would apply here, but the Sun is the 8th from the 10th in this case.

Does this have any link to the main activity or focus of the government

during its tenure?

Yes, it is very connected.The Sun is in the 10th of occupation/Dharma

showing position, executive leadership, Gov. service, etc.Raja yoga etc.

 

Highlight the results and failures related to the houses ruled by the Lord

of the Hora.

 

Sun as 5th lord in the 10th with10/11th Sat. the Hora lord, gave success.

In sub-period of the Sun, in (swearing in chart-Venus/Sun sub) he was

re-elected.

However, Sun as 5th lord is aspected by 8th lord Mars. Mars is also the

dispositor of Rahu.

In his natal chart Rahu is in the 10th and he is currently in his Rahu

majorDasa. Mars is his yogakaraka planet in Rasi conjuct Sat!

Rahu is in the 12th from his arudha lagna.So while Rahu took him up it is

not without some tarnish.

Would Rahu also cause neg.argala?

 

In the swearing in chart Rahu is in the 8th from 1st. And the hora lord

falls 8th from lagna lord.

In the swearing chart, Sun,our original Hora lord is in the 10th.However

he also happens to own the 8th from that Bhava(10thhouse)

He has been under scrutiny about his associations, fund raising, etc by the

press.Merc.combust ,owns 3rd and 6th.He has been continually humiliated by

Clintons nefarious activities,especially in sub-period of Venus/Rahu in

swearing in chart.

 

Can you relate the success and failures to the relationship between the

Lord of the 10th and the Lord of the Hora?

Sun and Saturn are enemies, Although through the influence of 10th lord

Saturn, it gave strong Raja yoga-position.Rahu is in the 11th from the

Sun,doesnt this give negative argala?

Also, in the navamsa of swearing in chart ,Sun as 1st lord is in the 8th

with Mars.

 

4.Will you ever write a book or teach Jyotish? If so during which Hora

should you give the Guru Mantra to your students?Does this have a link to

the Bhava or the arudha Pada of the Bhava.

Possibly, Sun-3rd lord and Merc1/4 lord are in the 8th aspected by the 7th

and 10th lord Jup.

If I ever felt inspired I would give on the day ruled by Jup. in the hora

of Jup.

Question-Venus is my 5th lord but since it is the lord of the 8th from the

5th I would not want to use it is that correct?

 

5.You would like to buy a new house.Which Hora would be most suitable to

negotiate for the house?

The day of venus and the Hora of venus as Venus is karaka of house and

happiness.My Moon is in the 2nd from the 4th house and is in the 2nd house

from lagna,desposting Jup.Would that be an acceptable hora also?

 

6.On which day would you look up a doctor.? Jupiter/Jup. My 6th lord is in

Jup house aspected by Jup.

Jup also aspects my 6th house.

 

7.Which is the best day to see his Jyotisha? If the Jyotisha only gives

appointments to people on Sat/Sun, then which time is most suitable? Sunday

in the hora of Venus-Venus is the lord of my 5th,which is 9th from the 9th

and contains the 9th lord. Venus is aspected by Jup and is in 2nd from my

5th.Also, I would leave for the appointment at an auspicious Hora/Jup.

 

8.You had asked for an interview and the date given is very inauspicious,

say it is ruled by the lord of the 8th house.The time seems to be most

inauspicious.What would you do?If it could not be cancelled-

Well, I would learn that I better check for an auspicious hora to request

the appiontment in the first place. Anyway if I had to go and everything

was not good I would chant Hare Krsna and plan to leave my house at an

auspicious hora even if it was hours in advance.Jup is close to my AC

within 4' so I figure whatever happens is Krsnas arrangement, I wouldnt get

my hopes up as this would be an inauspicious omen to begin with.Why get

involved in something that is doomed to begin with.

 

9.Your spouse has asked for a divorce and has walked out of the house.You

dont want to break the marriage.What would you do.?In the day of Venus in

the Hora of venus I would speak to him of reconciliation. In my chart Venus

is aspected by ex 7th lord,Jup.

 

I started this in an Hora of Merc. day of Sun and therefore I was not able

to complete it till today, day of Moon, hora of Jup.
