#1 asks "Determine the Hora at the time of birth in your horoscope. Do the houses ruled by the Lord of the Hora have any special significance in your life?"

 

The Hora at the time of my birth on Saturday, Sept 25, 1943 at 8:40 pm PWT is #21 Jupiter. This was arrived at by the following calculations:

 

LST Zone 120 W

LMT 121w 51 = 121 + (51/60)

Longitude of LMT 121 w 51 - 120 w = 1 degree 51 minutes

LMT Correction 120 w + 1 degree 51 minutes X 4 = 7 minutes 24 sec

Starting time for Hora at Chilliwack = 6 am + 7 minuest 24 seconds = 6:07 am

Bith Time 8:40 pm PWT = 20:40 PWT

Time Difference = Birth Time - Starting time = 20:40 - 6:07 = 14:33

 

Hora roundewd to next highest = 15

Therefore Lord of the 15th hora on Saturday Sept 25, 1943 was Saturn.

 

Saturn rules my 10th and 11th houses and is placed in the 3rd. Have these houses been significant in my life? Certainly Saturn ruling the 10th shows considerable effort is required to achieve. Saturns rulership of the 11th indicates eventual rewards and it's placement in the third shows improved discipline and learning as I age.

 

Could someone please tell me what Badhakesh and Rogesh mean? When I find an interpretation for these words I will finish the exercise.

 

#2 Beginning a project for review in 6 months:

 

LST 120 W

LMT 119 W 38 = 119 + (38/60)

Longitude of LMT 119 W 38 - 120 = 0 degrees 28 minutes

LMT correction 120 W = 28 minutes X 4 = 1 minute 52 seconds

Starting time for Hora at Westbank = 6 am + 1 minute 52 seconds = 6:01:52 or 6:02 am

Event time 8:05 am

Time Difference = Event time + Starting time = 8:05 am + 1 minute 52 seconds = 8:07 or 9 which is Venus

 

Venus in my natal chart is in the 5th house in association with the Moon in the sign of Leo.

 

In the chart cast for this time Venus is in assocition with Rahu in the 1st house, aspected by Saturn (3rd aspect), Venus is the Gnati correctly suggesting the event is work related. I will compare this chart using it as a transit chart with my Rasi before speculating how this situation will evolve. It will be interesting to see what has occured in 6 months.

 

#3 Considerable research will be required to get the base information to answer this question.

 

#4. Will I ever write a book or teach? Probably and either could occur during the Jupiter Mahadasha as Jupiter is in a Hampsa yoga and rules both the 9th and 12th houses in my natal chart. If I taught, it might be wise to begin the classes on Tuesdays at 7 pm as Mars rules my first house and Jupiter, my atmakaraka rules, among other things, teaching.
