Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Jayatah

And Narasimhadeva likes sweet rice.

There is a story from Gaudiya Matha(there is one disciple of Sridhara Maharaja

here, so I heard

second hand from person that heard this from him-so for that reason don't know

whether I am

speaking of Ugra Narasimha or just Narasimha deity).

There was an old baba whe had a math and a deity of Narasimhadeva. He had no one

to leave this

deity to worship him. Aside from his Math was one Gaudiya Matha and he saw that

they were

taking care of deities nicely there so he decided to leave his deity to them,

which he did.

However soon afterwards problems started happening in the math, everybody

started quarelling

with everybody, many brahmacaries left. So one other godbrother in the math of

that godbrother

whose matha was that said that problems must be from the improper worship of

Narasimhadeva

deity. So they did not know what to do and they went to other Godbrother and he

accepted the

deity. However same things started happening again, and the Matha was facing a

breakup and

everybody was quarelling with everybody and things were happening like that. So

they went to

Srila Sridhara Maharaja and told him the story and told him that they don't know

what to do. So

he said to them: " leave the deity here " , which they did, and Srila Sridhara

Maharaja send his

disciples to various directions from Navadivipa to find everything they could of

importance for

worship of Narasimha deva. So one Brahmacari went to Ekachakra, and found out

that Narasimha

deva is happy when he is offered sweet rice. They instantly started doing that

in Navadvipa

temple, and all the problems stopped, morover nobody was fighting with nobody.

That deity is

still in his Navadivipa Matha being offered sweet rice preparation every day.

I hope this story inspires somebody who worships Narasimha deva to offer him his

most liked

preparation: Sweet rice.

Also I want to state something ugly, but I feel necessary. About that woman that

was raped.

People here are too saintly to do something like that. It actually happened in

Germany in Nava

Jiyada Narasimha Kshetra some years ago. She is German, married for a Slovenian

and lives here

at present, for a short while. Therefore I took her example as I found out about

that recently.

Point I am trying to make is that when recently one mataji of Narayana Maharaja

wanted to take

some article from Srila Prabhupada for a World Vaisnava Association Magazine we

are doing in

Croatian she had to get permission from BBT, so she had to call tham to NJNK and

they asked her

for 108 dollars, and she said she does not have it, and so the conversation went

on and on, and

then they told her that they plan to close that farm and put Narasimhadeva

underground, in the

Earth??? I spoke couple of days ago with a friend that just went there for a

month to find out

whether they were just in a need of money and so they spoke like that, and he

said that there

are actually thoughts of closing it down but its not that realistic that it will

happen. But

then I spoke with one Gaudiya matha woman that recently came that was in India

and she told me

that its definitely not a principle to burry the deity underground if that has

to happen but

that the deity should rather be given to somebody to take care of it.

Anyway, its not good for ISKCON to close temples connected to Narasimha deva in

lights of what

Sanjay explanained of ISKCON's chart. I hope they never do similar things again

and have to

reap consequences.

your too much speaking sisya,

Zavisa

p.s. And I don't understand why Hrishikesha Maharaja needs to pay to anybody to

put his guru's

Srila Prabhupada's teaching into his magazine. However we founf things written

by Srila

Prabhupada before his coming to America that's not under copyrights from BBT so

we'll have

something to put into the magazine.
