We have already seen that the curse of the Brahmin is seen from both Mars and saturn aspecting Jupiter and it is the debilitating aspect of Saturn which n >eeds to be overcome. I think I read somewhere that trines represent Lakshmi devi. Happiness. Jupiter also. So happiness is denied, and that is a basic effect of a curse. Does it have to be an aspect of both Saturn and Mars or is the aspect of saturn enough? However it is said that malefic signification of Saturn increase by the more dignity he loses, so mars debilitates him and shows a lot of suffering. Why is then advice to worship rudra? Rudra is signified by Mars, and satisfying rudra we get rid of the negative(destructive) tendency of him. Further question is for a Vaisnava way of worship to overcome that. Can he worship Hanumanji, fast on Ekadasi, live in celibacy, and also possibly(if I am not stretching this too far) worship Ugra-Narasimha(I usually find him in situations of mars, merc and rahu together, but could Narasimha also possibly be indicated by Sat-mars combinations?). Does it show than the principle that we can satisfy " the negative " through tapasya relating to it(and in such a way wash a curse, or a problem- as tapasya is itself a problem-for example does the yogi doing tapasya in Himalayas gets rid of his karma he would otherwise suffer in some other way?). So some questions. yours sisya, Zavisa
