My father has his (non-astrological) reasons to think that Ar lagna is simply impossible. But, at the same time, we have our reasons to doubt. It is very reasonable to doubt. And the bottomline is that the chart should explain known facts about the person and events from his life. So your point is absolutely correct and taken well. Mercury in Aries lagna fits with my inner self very well - dynamic, restless, aggressive and yet indecisive and passionate to look at " everything " before deciding. So I cannot reject it outright. But the same influences are seen in rasi anyway. Sanjay's only point that makes me rethink is about Venus in 2nd aspected by Mars. I can reconcile with even that. The rest of the comments about Jupiter in 8th making a fool and 7th lord in rasi in 8th in navamsa creating troubles in marital life etc don't make me rethink my navamsa lagna. I can easily reconcile with them and clearly understand what they did to me. In addition, timing of events with KCD, Narayana dasa etc breaks down with this rectification. I think this rectification is based on who Sanjay thinks I am. I wonder how Sanjay can justify my new D-20 and D-24 charts. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
