Guest guest
Yaya Jaya Jaganath Sti Ganesha Namaya Om Gurave Namah, Namasthe Narasimha, No no, I did not say that. I only quoted it from a website. Telugus start their years from Prabhava because of Salivahana saka. Yes, I am sorry about this mistake. I simply followed your's order. I did not clearly remember if Kali yuga started in Vijaya or Vikrama, but assumed Vikrama because the next year is Vikrama and Sanjay said a new chakra starts then! I am totally confused by all this. If Kali yuga started in Vijaya, why is a new chakra starting in Vikrama? Moreover, I divided 1200x360=432000 years into sub-yugas, sub-sub-yugas etc and did not see how it comes down to a mahachakra of 1200 years comprising of 480+360+240+120 years of Kritadi chakras. The numbers simply don't add up correctly. Sanjay, plaease throw more light. Me too confused by this, as I never read or learn such a thing before. But, I am sure you are in a good position to understand and find about this. I am sending some more details I found. Now, without argument, the Vikrama year starts on this year, 2000. Last 120 years, from 1880 to 2000 was the last chakra. If you find the sub period of last chakra, it comes 12+24+36+48 =120 years. The last 48 years sub period started in 1952. If you count this 48 years from Vikrama (which is coming this year), in descending order, it has to start from Vijaya. Do this make any sense ? How ever to make easier I write few Slokas here. 39. Vrishtyadou vijayo nama shakabdou prabhawasthatha, Vrithtyaderr vijayadyastha shakachcha prabavadaya 40. Dwadashgana guroyartha bhagana varthamanakai rashibi sahitha shudda shashtya siyurvijayadaya (Multyply , the amount of " aneetha madyama Guru bagana " by 12, add precent " madyama Guru rasi amount, and devide by 60, the remain will be Vijayadi Sanwathsara ) ---- There are few more. I can send it only if anybody interesting. As I said earlier, this is only what I think. I may be completely wrong. look forward to here from you.
