I don't agree with your analogy of conception. The time when the question strikes in the most basic form is analogous to conception. The time when the query is formed in clear terms for being posed to an astrologer is analogous to delivery. > If we take the time when the prasna was finally conceived, > then also we > are attempting the impossible, because the querist will never > know this and > will attempt a guess. > Communicating the Prasna: This can be communicated to ten > different > astrologers at ten different times. Thus, each Jyotish will have a different > Prasna Jataka. > Thus each Jyotish will get the Prasna in his ears (Hearing > or receipt of > communication is Akash Tatwa and is ruled by Vishnu/Jupiter) > at different > times. Thus depending on the blessings of Jupiter/Vishnu the > blessed one > gets the right time. I have two problems with this: (1) The time when astrologer finally analyzes the prasna is dependent on the actions of the astrologer. How can lagna of that chart represent the queror then? (2) Saying that different astrologers get different charts and the blessed one gets the right one sounds too arbitrary to me. One could extend this to natal charts, after all, and say that the exact birthtime is not needed and astrologer can cast the chart for the moment he analyzes a native's fortune and the blessed astrologer gets the right chart. This may sound like an exaggeration to you, but there isn't much difference. With the approach I outlined, query formation time is fixed and all astrologers have the same chart. It is no longer arbitrary. > As regards examples, I have about a dozen charts everyday. > This proves > nothing. I am surprised by this assertion Sanjay. I never said it " proves " anything! The four examples were just for illustrating how the basic nature of query is visible in the query formation chart. They do not prove anything. By detailing my approach to prasna, I did not want to prove anything. My only wish is that learned astrologers (including you) should consider my approach with an open mind. I wrote it because I am convinced that it is worth your (and others') consideration. > Om Tat Sat > Best Wishes > Sanjay Rath May He show us the Right Path, Your grateful sishya, Narasimha
