Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Jyotisha, I felt that of late, some discussions about ISKCON have cropped up in the list. I have tried to explain that personal predujices should be kept aside in view of the higher objectives of spreading knowledge and goodwill. There are a number of us who may have had some good and some bad experiences at ISKCON. These are personal experiences one learns from and grows. In my interaction, I have had only ONE occasion of sorrow and a million occasions of unbounded Joy. People like Dina-nath, Kusa Devi, Mahanidhi Swami, Sri Vaidyanath das Prabhu and so many many others have given me so much joy that when I think of them I start to sing " Bhaje Brajaikamandanam .... " automatically. So, let us not count the sorrows. Jagannath alone knows how many more we have to see. As able Jyotisha or Brihaspati's we have to be strong to take away the sorrow of others. Everyday when I see charts, people only spell out their troubles and sorrows. I am so fortunate that Jagannatha has chosen me to be an ocean to drink their sorrows and poison and to be of service to them; to give them faith and comfort when their hearts ache and their cries die down their throats. Sometimes this runs over and then, please bear with me because other than this rare occasion and this forum, I do not have any opportuanity to show that I am also human. So also one day you all will be oceans of mercy. Let us all be merciful. The fact that we have taken birth is enough to prove that we have been sinners. Let us not count the sins. Let us surge ahead in spreading His divine light. I had thought of having rules and regulations for this Jyotish Class, but decided against it. I will keep it this way as this is not a forum of children. Om Tat Sat Best Wishes Sanjay Rath
