The following is MY view:

 

Parasara clearly mentioned planets being in the horas of Sun & Moon. And, he

said that that chart shows wealth. So the hora chart of wealth must be based on

Sun & Moon. Some detail or interpretation can be added to Parasara's verse, but

it can't be changed completely. This verse exists consistently in too many

places to be a later day corruption.

 

There can be other hora charts (like PD hora - parivritti dwaya hora - that I

mentioned) which are not based on Sun & Moon. But their purpose should be

different (for example, I hold that PD hora chart shows family affairs).

 

Of course, you are free to pursue the path that seems the most logical to you.
