I had a very strange experience today. I have temporarily kept my brother's scooter at home which was parked in the garage. I use my mo-bike everyday but, strangely, ever since morning I had a feeling (rather something kept prompting me) to use the scooter instead of the bike. At 10.15 AM today, before leaving for office, while removing the scooter from the garage I was confronted by a snake charmer (a fraud - not exactly a snake charmer but the ones who usually keep loafing about with a python around the neck) who wanted some money to be donated and I, like a fool, took my purse to give away a coin. At this point he insisted I bring out a currency note and, like a spellbound man, I removed the only currency note in my purse (Rs.100) and it was promptly snatched away from my hand and the very next minute it was gone down the throat of the python and he started saying "Bhole Baba has blessed you etc.......etc.....". Suddenly, like a woken up man, I immediately shouted at him and demanded back my money which was never to come. He also gave a Rudraksha which I just threw it (may be its lying somewhere in the garage). I kept cursing my foolishness and having acted in such a knaive manner. Alas! what was to happen had happened by then. I immediately started visualizing what could have led to this (Astrologically, of course). I immediately suspected this to be the handiwork of Rahu-Ketu and either Mars or Venus to be alongwith as they are the ones which are conjoined by Rahu in my ascendant. Venus, however, did not seem likely being a natural benefic. I strongly suspected it to be Rahu-Ketu and Mars combine. Then, I mentally calculated the HORA and found that at that point of time (10.15 AM) it was Mars Hora (6-7 AM is Mercury, 7-8 is Moon, 8-9 is Saturn, 9-10 is Jupiter and 10-11 is Mars - I hope the calculation is correct. Even if it is 5.40 to 6.40 AM and so on it is Mars at 10.15 AM.) Then I left for the office driving the scooter and when I reach CP (NDMC office - about 50 meters before my office) I was stopped by a Police Man (Sergeant/Inspector or so) and I was asked to produce my DL and also the Pollution Check Certificate. Both were intact and I was let of after a brief while. On an afterthought, I presumed Venus/Jupiter was probably my saviour as, had I come to office on my Mo-bike, I would faced a hefty penalty as the validity of my "Pollution Under Check" Certificate has expired. On one hand I was robbed/cheated off my hard earned money (Rs.100) while on the other hand, I was saved from a very hefty fine had I come on bike. Having reached office, I made a kundli for 10.15 AM and also for 10.35 AM. The ascendant and other placements at both the times were the same except for the degrees of AC, SUN, MOON, MARS, MERCURY and VENUS whose degrees change by a minute or few minutes respectively. However, the Navamsa Lagna changes - at 10.15 AM the NL is Virgo aspected by ME & RA from Sagi., MA from Pi and SU, MO, JU ® and KE from Ge, while in the case of 10.35 AM the NL is Scorpio which has no rasi drishti. This truly is a matter for research for all of us during the next class. However, I would need your advise on (1) whether I should search for the rudraksha which I threw away in the garage and then throw it of altogether? (2) Why this happened and what should I do to avoid a similar incident. Which is/are the house(s) that I should look to find out. The one main lesson I learnt today was, never to break the pooja come what may (abhishek etc., which I did not perform for two days as my house was in total disarray). Anxiously awaiting your reply. Basic chart is Gemini with rahu, Venus & mars and Sun & Merc in third. Saturn in the ninth. Jupiter is very well placed in the 12th. Has been involved in the Tamil sangam since his boyhood fays because of his grandfather. Rest should follow.
