Guest guest
Om Hayagreevam Upaasmahe Pranaam Sanjay, Thank you very much for your comments in another mail on sthira, chara and naisargika karakas. It is a very illuminating lesson. BTW, you said that naisargika karakas are analogous to the movable rasis. Did you mean dual signs instead? It looks to me like sthira, chara and naisargika karakatwas have the natures of fixed, movable and dual signs (Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu). In Narayana dasa, we have the progression based on whether lagna has Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva nature. In Brahma dasa, we have the progression based on Brahma always. Why don't we have the progression based on Shiva always in Shoola dasa then? In another mail, you told Vijay that he should call me " Guru " instead of " brother " . As long as he has guru bhava regarding me and as long as I don't give him preferential treatment because of " brother " addressing, I don't think how he calls me matters. Even before I initiated him into SJVC, he was my student and he always called me " brother " . The way I look at it, there is no problem with it. What is in the heart matters, not the external formalities. > Dear Narasimha, > There is no doubt that Sri K N Rao was a great Tapaswi and this > manifested in his Saturn Dasa when the Tapaswi Yoga of Saturn, Venus and > Ketu worked. Tapaswi yoga shows results *mainly* in related dasas. However, one blessed with tapo guna is a " tapaswi " for his entire life (I am referring to your " was " above). > With the advent of Mercury, the entire situation has gone topsy > turvy. He will have to pay for his sins > and who are we to sit in judgement. Exactly! Who are we to sit in judgment? We can comment on his teachings when we disagree, but we cannot and should not make non-technical comments on his *personality* (Sukracharya, fallen etc). Who are we to sit in judgment? We should just bow to the tapaswi in him with due respect and then say: May Jupiter's light shine on us! I passed a *judgment* on whether making comments on Rao ji's personality is right or not. Who am I to make that judgment? I am sorry for my mistake and I will keep quiet on this stuff. You have Jagannatha to guide you. It is foolish of me to do anything that amounts to advising you. Please ignore my comments on this matter. * * * I have a question. Sthira rasis (Shiva) have 8 years, chara rasis (Brahma) have 7 years and dwiswabhava rasis (Vishnu) have 9 years. You were earlier talking about a correlation between this and the three types of karakas. However sthira karakas (which you said are related to sthira rasis/Shiva) are 7 in number, while sthira rasis have 8 (not 7) years. The figure " 7 years " belongs to chara rasis, not sthira rasis. So what exactly did you mean by the link? Your grateful sishya, Narasimha
