Those who know how do indeed treat the Karaka Lagna chakra with great importance, but we need to combine this with the Lagna, etc. chakra as from the Atmakaraka we cannot see the house, bank account, workplace and many other mundane things accurately. Yet, indeed the Karaka Lagna is of high relevance.
