Her time and even date of birth is not known. Are there any mantras which can help her over come this problem. She is a very religious lady and does her poojas with great faith. So I believe that mantras will be very helpful in relieving her from problems.She is a big devotee of maa Durga and also likes to worship lord Shiva. You have entered the 4th sula dasa for your mother which is the 7th house with the above combination. Mercury can easily give this kind of thyroid diseases when afflicted by nodes. I suggest you (on her behalf) offer water bathing, offer lamp (for Mars) to shiva lingam on every saturday. If she is taking any herbal medicine, you can also offer that to Shiva lingam (ask your priest how to do it) and then give that medicine to her. If she is taking any other medicines then instead of offering that you can take some of the water from the shiva lingam (after offering) and mix that water which she normally use to take medicine. You can recite some simple Vishnu mantras for her. She can also chant the name of vishnu. " Om namo narayanaya " is the simple and the best. The test for thyroid hormone level came out to be normal sometime back. The hormonal supplement taken earlier is now discontinued.However the doctor said that this does not mean that the disease is cured and care should be taken. Moreover there is no relief as far as symptoms are concerned. The symptoms are as follows weight gain in spite of controlled diet. swelling in entire body pain in muscles. Thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows.
