I have the following questions. 1) I am reading the terms " strong malefic " and " strong benefic " in AL documents. Is it natural malefics/benefics or functional nature? 2) How do we find whether a planet is strong? Is it based on shadbala or any of the deeptadi, baladi or lajjitadi avasthas? 3) I am still confused about how to connect planets from Lagna and AL point of view? I understood something on my own way. I am not sure whether I understood it right. Can someone please check this and correct me? a) Check what a planet is promising from Lagna point of view. b) Check the position of the same planet from AL and find out whether it is auspiciously placed or not c) Correlate the results for e.g. in my chart (Time:- 13-Dec-1978 10:12:10 AM, Place:- Chennai, India), I could interprete the following at high level 1) The Moon is placed in 5th house from Lagna, so it should help the native to prosper. However, it is placed at 3rd from AL. So, it should cause inauspicious results materialiastically. Does it mean the native will gain by means of materialistic suffering? 2 Mercury is lord of 6th and 9th, but it promotes odd sign of 6th (Ge) house more due to it's placement in an even sign (Sc). So, it should act like dusthana lord. However Mercury is placed 9th from AL, so it should bring material benefits. Does it mean, material benefits at the expense of ones self? Can someone please help me with this analysis?
