Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha. As a beginner in Astrology, I would greatly appreciate being enlightened on the following: 1) I have seen many D-60 charts. There is always at least one planet or lagna in a malefic shastiamsam. Is there any significance to a chart if all the 10 points in D-60 (i.e. lagna and 9 planets) are ALL in BENEFIC shastiamsams? Does such a D-60 chart override/negate bad yogas in the Rasi chart. 2) In studying the effects of Upapada lagna, do we give any consideration to neecha bhanga maha parivartana yoga between lord of UL and lord of 2nd from UL. (Example: UL is in Aquarius; Saturn with Ketu in Pisces; Jupiter is debilitated in capricorn; Mercury is in Aries; Sun and Venus are in Taurus; Lagna is Cancer; Moon and Mars are in Leo; Rahu is Atmakaraka in Virgo. Atmakaraka is 8th from UL. So Saturn (UL Lord) is 7th lord from Cancer in parivartana with Jupiter (lord of 2nd from UL) who is also 9th lord from Cancer. 3) Which UL is more appropriate to judge marriage? Is it the UL of D-9 chart or UL of rasi chart. Especially when UL and 2nd from UL (in D-9) looks promising for a good marriage but the UL and 2nd from UL in Rasi chart is very troubling. Thanks for helping me. Somnath
Guest guest
Hare Rama krishna Om Namah Shivaya Namaste Somnath - Such a beuatiful name of shiva you have. 1) Shastiamsa with all amsa rulers being benefic shows very high degree of dharma. Such a person , will act and conduct with upmost dharmic way. It will not eliminate prarabhdha/malefic combinations in rasi, but his attitude and reaction to such events shall be with high degree of ideals and dharma. Great person indeed in past life 2) UL in Aquarius has 2 lords - Rahu(Ak) and Sat(?). Can you share the details its difficult to answer 2 and 3 without seeing the chart Regards, Subbu , " Somnath " <samsivaskandan wrote: > > > Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha. Dear Subbu Sir, Thanks so much for your response. Thanks for appreciating my name. I am told I was named after the Somnath Temple that my great grandmother loved so much. I am sorry I am late in responding to you. I am recovering from a slip disc surgery in my back. Hence I have not been as prompt with my e-mails as I like to be. I have separately sent to via e-mail the *.jhd charts so as not to bother other folks in this group. Your insight and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to enlighten all of us. We are fortunate and blessed that knowledgeable gurus like you are taking the time to illuminate us with your great knowledge. Best regards, Somnath Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha.
