Guest guest
om gurave namah------------------------Dear Praveen, I think I have given a fine example on this recently where I had shown how to start with the Arudha of the third house from the 1 & 7 both from lagna and sun to check ability to have children. thereafter we are required to check the santana Tithi, the fifth loed etc. can someone please forward the e-mail. Visti maybe remembering it.With best wishesSanjay Rathhttp://sanjayrath.tripod.com - praveen agrawal Sanjay Rath Cc: varahamihira Sunday, February 03, 2002 7:51 AM [Hare Rama Krishna] Request for Guidance OM GURAVE NAMAHRespected Sir, Sadar Pranam.I am writing you after a long interval. The gap wasdue to some odd circumstances. However, I shallbe regular now. Meanwhile, I was in touch with though not regularly. Reverd sir, I do feel that to go ahead in astrology, the most difficult subject of the world, we should be very clear and precise about basic principles and methodology. I take this opportunity to clarifycertain things :1) How we should correlate the Rasi, Navamsa and concerned Divisional chart for a particular prognostication. Say, for progeny we primarily consider the 5th lord and Jupiter. Again, three charts viz. Rasi, Nav. and Saptamsa have to be considered. Whether 5th lord from Rasi or from Saptamsa should be given priority. What is the role of Nav. and whether disposition of 5th lord from Saptamsa should be judged in Nav. also. Should 5th lord from Nav. have a say in thematter. I feel each of the above is important from acertain aspect and it is not simple arithmatic of additionand subtraction. Please elucidate such things.2) Similarly for Dasa results, please guide us how to judge the results considering the three chartsdiscussed above. Illustrating, how the lordship in Nav.affects the results. When it should be reckoned from Lagna and when from the particular house like lord of 8thfrom the 5th house. In divisional charts also whether itshould be considered from the Lagna or the concerned house.3) Transits also play an important role. Please guidehow to consider transits in divisional charts. If therasi position itself should be seen in the div. chart or thedivisional position at a particular moment is important. Sayif Jupitor is at 24 degrees in Aries whether we shouldconsider its transit from Nav. in Aries itself or its Nav.position Scorpio. Your guidance will prove a milestone in my (and others') journey to acuire some astrologicalwisdom. Guest guest
om gurave namah------------------------Dear Praveen There is detailed write up on the Vipareeta Raj yoga in the files section in the form of a lesson. have you downloaded them. if so, then this should be easy. I am answering the questions briefly below - blue color to differentiate. With best wishesSanjay RathWeb: http://sanjayrath.tripod.comServices: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/zservices.htmJyotish Digest: http://jyotishdigest.com/SJVC: http://www.sjvc.org/ - Praveen Kumar varahamihira Cc: Sanjay Rath Friday, March 01, 2002 12:13 AM [Hare Rama Krishna] Request For Guidance OM GURUVE NAMAH Respected Guruji, Sadar pranam. Here I am putting some queries regarding Vipareet Rajayoga. It is (rightly) said that interaction of lords of dusthanas create a Rajayoga, by negating the negative results ascribed to such planets. Please clarify : 1) What if such a yoga takes place in a kendra or kona? What will be the result of combination of lords of 6th and 8th in Lagna, then what if one of these lords is exalted or debilited ? RATH: The planet in Kendra must be strong to give Yoga like say Mars in the tenth for Virgo.. 2) What if lords of 6th and 8th (say for Pisces Lagna) aspect each other from 4th and 10th houses ? RATH: How can Venus and Sun be 7 signs away..frame you question well. Anyway the same rule as above applies. They themselves will give Rajyoga if they have some strength and if they conjoin some Yoga giving planet. Like say this combinationwere to conjoin Jupiter also in the 10th house then it is the planet conjoining Guru that will give great results due to its yoga with guru and access to the Paraa Vidya. 3) It is said that debilitated 6th, 8th or 12th lords acquire beneficence and do good. What if such debilited planet is in a kendra aspecting other benefic lords ( say lord of 8th Sun debilited in the 10th aspecting lord of 9th Mercury in the 4th) ? RATH: Noboy in debility aquires beneficence. If tomorrow someone were to lose all his wealth and were to be on the road shall we say that he becomes good and beneficial. When a person has nothing (debility) then what can he give. Well the result of a planet in debility is that it destroys the house it owns and hence the 6th Lord in debility is good but not the 3rd Lord. In one case the 12th lord is in debility in the 3rd and the 3rd lord is in debility..result, the brother has a chronic physical ailment. Thus debility is never good. It can give wealth to the bhava it is placed in but only at the cost of another. If it associates with wealth giving houses then the native gets wealth. It does not result in better Karma..just getting even for past issues. Your clarification will solve the riddle puzzling my mind. RATH: What is the riddle Abhi Yours Faithfully Praveen Kumar (Mumbai) OM TAT SATArchive: varahamihiraFiles: varahamihiravarahamihira/database

Guest guest
om gurave namah------------------------Dear Praveen. this will take me ages to type out. So, just forget it for the present. I am tired of typing for so many years. So many have come, some have learnt. Get the article from AM 1996 on dasamsa. Karaka - are the key. Better still, I should teach this at a lecture so that some student can note it for me. If you are in delhi or in the USA, meet me this year and I will teach this to you. Other students want this to be included in the workshop. With best wishesSanjay RathWeb: http://sanjayrath.tripod.comServices: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/zservices.htmJyotish Digest: http://jyotishdigest.com/SJVC: http://www.sjvc.org/ - Praveen Kumar Varahamihira Cc: Sanjay Rath Thursday, March 21, 2002 1:25 AM [Hare Rama Krishna] Request For Guidance Om Gurave Namah Respected Guruji, Sadar Pranam. I have not received the reply of my previous query. I had requested therein to enlighten us how to study transits of planets in Divisional Charts. Please guide. Now I put another question. Please guide us about some basic principles of prediction using Rasi, Navamsa and the particular Divisional chart. Say for profession, 10th lord of Rasi, 10th lord of Navamsa and 10th lord of Dasamsa are important. Now let us know : 1) How we should judge their inter-relations and draw final conclusions ? 2) Which one is most important ? 3) What is the role of Navamsa ? 4) Should we judge the strength/position of divisional lords in Navamsa etc. 5) Also advise on role of Shathyamsa (D-60) as it is said to be very important for all purposes and is fast changing. I couldn't find answer to these queries in any of the books I have read so far. Guest guest
Learned Members A friend has some difficult times. I will be grateful if you could suggest some remedies. She is currently facing some pressing financial difficulties including house foreclosure as the investment in property which was the sole means of financial support has gotten into jeopardy due to a fradulent real estate firm. She has two kids and parents to support. Recently her brother passed away too. Has a serious medical condition : neuro muscular disease, charcot marie tooth, where the native can't walk for more than a short distance, affects hands coordination, balance, breathing, making it very difficult to do routine work. Additionally and partly because of these, there's confusion about career and lack of right opportunities. She has been single for some years now.She feels very alone and would like to have a partner in life. She wants to attract a serious, loving relationship in her life at the earliest as three years have gone by since the second husband passed away with Cancer and a serious, stable relationship is yet to manifest. She values that a lot and wants to have someone to share things with. Her birth data is: Feb 7, 1963, 1.39 am, Santa Barbara, California, US She is open to doing any mantras. It is very coincidental that as I write this her antar dasha of Jupiter ends and that of Saturn begins. No idea what it means, but will be interesting to know. Will appreciate guidance about how and when the situations can turn around, Many thanks in anticipation Shiv
