For many people music is also a form of prayer. This makes me curious weather different ragas can be related to different deities. For example if ishta devata is Saturn one is advised to worship the koorma form of Vishnu. This will help the native in emancipation. Melody must be associated with mantra to have full healing aspect. But I still feel that music has a great ability to inspire and rejuvenate me. So, I was wondering if there are some other connections too. Can different forms of music be related to different to the AK. I have heard that for sun as AK learning a musical instrument is good, as sun is karaka for rhythm. However, I find myself more interested in vocal. My moon is in 3rd from lagnamsa and 6th from karakamsa. Its in 4th house in rasi. But it is debiliated in rasi as well as d9. Though i do not sing too well, but I am learning. I often get appreciated for my voice quality.
