Guest guest
Dear Visti ji and other gurujis, Greetings. I have some more questions on D-charts. Even though my understanding is getting better with rasi and D charts, I am still confused about certain concepts. Can you please answer my questions given below? 1. Rasi chart can give indication of what future holds and d-chart can provide exact details about specific events. How does it work in case of contradicting rasi and d chart predictions? I mean is there a precedence associated? 2. In case of yogas like gaja-kesari yoga, can we take it from Rasi chart or it is valid only in D-5 chart? 3. In the book "Jyotisa Fundamentals", it is mentioned that luck associated with a bhava is seen from navamsa dispositor of the bhava lord. Does this concept apply only for Rasi chart, or it can be applied for various D-charts as well? 4. If there is a raja yoga in d-chart, do we take it in consideration only if the bhavas involved are of importance in that d-chart? For e.g., a raja yoga involving 5th and 10th house should be considered in D10, but we can not consider yoga involving 5th and 4th bhava in the same D10. 5. How do we find out the strength of a yoga in D-chart? I am thinking about the following points a. Consider whether the planet is in exaltation/debilation/mooltrikona/ownhouse in D-chart b. Take the "age" from Rasi chart. c. Consider the degree difference between the planets involved in yoga --> I guess, it should be in D-chart. Can someone please confirm this? d. Check whether the planet is in sign of friend/enemy/neutral planet. --> Again I guess, it should be in D-chart. e. Consider the placement of the planet involved from various Lagnas (AL/HL/SL etc). --> Shoult it be in D-chart? Can you please answer my questions above? regards nagarjuns

Guest guest
हरे राम कृष्ण Dear Nagarjuna, Namaskar. Here are my answers to your questions. 1. Rasi chart can give indication of what future holds and d-chart can provide exact details about specific events. How does it work in case of contradicting rasi and d chart predictions? I mean is there a precedence associated? Visti: Peculiar question, because you are assuming that the Divisional chart is interpreted the same way as the Rasi, i.e. that 7th house in Rasi is the same as 7th house in Navamsa... its not the case. In the context of marriage and relationships, if the seventh house in the Rasi is getting activated then the person may go to some dances or social gatherings, but unless the seventh house in Navamsa is also being activated the person may not meet or marry their future marital partner. Do you get my point? 2. In case of yogas like gaja-kesari yoga, can we take it from Rasi chart or it is valid only in D-5 chart? Visti: It has to exist in the Rasi chart to give its full indications and that the native can personally gain some fruit from this yoga. The Vargas will in this case show to what extent the yoga is giving its full results. 3. In the book "Jyotisa Fundamentals", it is mentioned that luck associated with a bhava is seen from navamsa dispositor of the bhava lord. Does this concept apply only for Rasi chart, or it can be applied for various D-charts as well? Visti: I'm compelled to say yes to your statement for sake of understanding the versatility of the interaction of divisional charts, however I must firmly say no to this as the logic is flawed to begin with. I.e. If there is no link to the relevant bhavas in the rasi chart then how can we say that a person is enjoying the bhagya indicated by Navamsa? We can only physically enjoy any yoga or combination if the Rasi chart is connected to the particular event/yoga. Do not underestimate the importance of the Rasi chart in the various Vargas. If the Rasi Lagna doesn't like the activities pertaining to a particular divisional chart, then that varga is practically out of the picture in a persons life. This is the concept of Rasi-Tuly-Varga. Visti: No, this is not the way. Instead check the two grahas having Rajayoga in the Rasi in the relevant divisional charts with reference to 1) Avastha in the varga and 2) placement from Lagna. I.e. in the answer I gave to Namita just a few minutes ago, I was concerned about the placement of his tenth lord from Rasi, in the Dasamsa. 5. How do we find out the strength of a yoga in D-chart? I am thinking about the following points Visti: This is VERY advanced. For this you should join the Jaimini Sutra course. You might as well if you are serious about Jyotish. I saw that Sarbani was offering to take new students in Delhi for a workshop - think about it if your in the vicinity. Guest guest
Respected Visti ji and other members, Each lagn corresponds to a D-1 chart remains roughly for 2-2.5 hours durations thus results observed in a D1 chart are applicable to a set of natives born under that lagn not for the individual native always again if 7h is activated in both D9 and D1 chart that also does not confirm marriage because D9 lagn is 3 20' lenght and remains rouhly 13 min thus how is it possible that all natives born under same navamsha experience marriage at the same time. something more is required always to uniquely identify a native Regards, Ankit Poddar
Guest guest
Dear Namita, Greetings. To find out the native’s interaction withothers, you need to find out the relationship between Lord of the house andKaraka of the house. Trines and Kendra à always good3/11 relation à it is good, but onlyafter some effort is put2/12 relation à shows mismatch in timing6/8 relation à shows mismatch in idealsand indicates complications Here we are discussing about children. Childrenare seen from 5th house. Karaka of the 5th house forchildren is Jupiter. So, we need to see the relationship between Lord of 5thhouse and Jupiter. I mean how they are placed from each others To interpret the above relationship for children, Trines and Kendra à Native is happy withhis/her children and he will take good care of them.3/11 relation à Native will be friendlywith his/her children.2/12 relation à mismatch in timing and resultingin misunderstanding and hence troubles6/8 relation à this is worst relationshipindicating a lot of mismatch in ideals/thinking As mentioned by Visti ji, I think we needto check this in Rasi chart first and then check D7 to see the extent of thisindication. If you get a chance, try to get Visti ji’sgood book. I am sure it will clear many of your doubts. Guest guest
हरे राम कृष्ण Dear Ankit, Namaskar. Do you wanto uniquely identify an individual or identify their opportunities for marriage? Pranapada is also used for marriage purposes.. Yours sincerely, Visti Larsen ---------- Jyotish Guru (Vedic Astrologer) www: http://srigaruda.com @: visti ankiite skrev: Respected Visti ji and other members, Each lagn corresponds to a D-1 chart remains roughly for 2-2.5 hours durations thus results observed in a D1 chart are applicable to a set of natives born under that lagn not for the individual native always again if 7h is activated in both D9 and D1 chart that also does not confirm marriage because D9 lagn is 3 20' lenght and remains rouhly 13 min thus how is it possible that all natives born under same navamsha experience marriage at the same time. something more is required always to uniquely identify a native Regards, Ankit Poddar

Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha. Dear Vistiji, Not surprisingly, it appears that the method you have stated works better in D-charts than in Rasi charts. Below is an example of 7th lord and Karaka being very badly placed in Rasi, but very well placed in D-9. Native is very happily married for 21 years with 3 children. Aquarius is UL. Ketu in UL is very good for wife – according to Sanjayji. Actually, wife is very accomplished in her own right, intelligent, beautiful, an outstanding mother/partner and very virtuous. Native is also supremely virtuous does his best to ensure the happiness of his wife. All of the preceding is at tremendous odds with the planetary placements in native’s Rasi stated below: The relationship between Karaka Venus and 7th lord Saturn is shasti/ashti (6/8). Saturn(DK) is conjunct with a debilitated Jupiter(GK) in the 7th house of marriage can’t be good for marriage. Actually a Mars (PuK) aspect from Libra adds to the aggravation. Rahu(AK) with Venus(AmK) in Leo is surely not so good for a stable marriage Kala Amrita Yoga is present, with Ascendant outside the Yoga. But D-9 has Venus is in Swamsa Scorpio. So 7th lord is in Lagna. (1 above) makes Karaka Venus same as 7th lord and hence a trinal relationship between 7th lord and karaka – clearly supports a good marriage relationship. UL is in Dhanus, with exalted Mars and Swakshetra Saturn in Capricorn (i.e. Vargottama). No malefic conjuctions or graha dristis on Venus. All 4 benefics (unafflicted) Ve (in 1), Ju & Me (in 4th), Mo (in 10th) in Kendras. No malefics in Trines except for Su in 9th. Rahu Aries in 6th and Ke in Libra in 12th. So it appears the Lord of 7th and Karaka Venus being the same and being located in Lagna in D-9 (with other very strong supporting factors) has probably given the healthy marriage relationship. Rasi alone would clearly suggest a disastrous marriage. My point is that it is possible that some Rasi charts may indicate a disastrous relatonship between House Lord and Karaka, but may actually be completely reversed in the D-charts. In such cases, we probably should go with the D chart’s pronouncement. Not sure what we would do if the rule works in Rasi, but bombs in the D-chart?? I am sure when I am done listening to your 150+ hours of lectures that I have downloaded, in conjunction with a copy of your book I bought, I will find the answer -. Thanks so much for everything you do for us in answering so many of our questions!! We are deeply appreciative and immensely grateful. Best regards, Somnath Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Children are seen from 5th house. Karaka of the 5th house for children is Jupiter. So, we need to see the relationship between Lord of 5th house and Jupiter. I mean how they are placed from each others  To interpret the above relationship for children,  Trines and Kendra à Native is happy with his/her children and he will take good care of them. 3/11 relation à Native will be friendly with his/her children. 2/12 relation à mismatch in timing and resulting in misunderstanding and hence troubles 6/8 relation à this is worst relationship indicating a lot of mismatch in ideals/thinking  As mentioned by Visti ji, I think we need to check this in Rasi chart first and then check D7 to see the extent of this indication.  If you get a chance, try to get Visti ji’s good book. I am sure it will clear many of your doubts.  Regards nagarjuna   On Behalf Of Namita Jain Wednesday, March 18, 2009 3:25 AM Re: [Om Krishna Guru] RE: More questions regarding D-charts -- Visti ji and others  Respected members I have a doubt about D-chart which I would like ask by means of example. Guest guest
हरे राम कृषà¥à¤£ Dear Somnath, Namaskar. Which chart are you referring to? Yours sincerely, Visti Larsen ---------- Jyotish Guru (Vedic Astrologer) www: http://srigaruda.com @: visti Sam Sivaskandan skrev: Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. D-7 tells about our children. How can we see our attitude towards children. For eg. if I want to know weather I would be able to raise my children (provide them with the basics and give them good samskara) which d-chart would i consider and which bhava in rasi relates to this.  thanks & regards namita  <%40> , "Namita Jain" <namita.saket wrote: > > respected nagarjuna ji and vistiji > i would like to thank both of you for posing and answering such important questions. > thanks and regards > namita > > > <%40> , Visti Larsen <visti@> wrote: > > > > à ¤¹à ¤°à ¥‡ à ¤°à ¤¾à ¤® à ¤•à ¥ƒà ¤·à ¥Âà ¤£ > > Dear Nagarjuna, Namaskar. > > You are misinformed. > > Contact Andrew Foss: andrew@ > > He is teaching the Jaimini Sutras in Virginia and his schedule may agree > > with you and travelling plans. > > Yours sincerely, Visti Larsen > > ---------- > > Jyotish Guru (Vedic Astrologer) > > www: http://srigaruda.com > > @: visti@ > > > > Cherukuri, Nagajurna skrev: > > > > > > Dear Visti ji, > > > > > > > > > > > > Namaskar. > > > > > > > > > > > > This mail cleared all my doubts about D-chart.
