John Travolta (DOB Feb. 18, 1954, TOB 14:53 POB Englewood Cliffs,NJ,USA) lost his son from a fall in his bath room after a seizure. John's chart shows little evidence of this event in his birth chart. Mars the Yogkaraka for Moon ascendant is in his own house in fifth. Jupiter the lord of ninth house aspects this house, something that should have ironicaly given him a promising son. I wonder if afflicted Mars in his Saptamsa has any link with this tragedy which incidentally happened in Jupiter dasa. Could gurus throw some light. Mangal in 5th house even in own signs will never guarantee the protection of living things in a house. See Prasna Marga. 2.Mangal is caught in Papakartari yoga of worst malefics of Rahu and Ketu 3. SHani in 4th house when too strong and vakri promises loss of a son. 4.SHani is further " bija " or the seed of the 5th house (count from Rashi placement of Shani till navamsa placement of Shani and you will get 5th house) 5.Now Guru has graha dristi on Mangal. Normally we would ask why Guru did not protect. Guru rules 6th house as well and being in even sign he will promote more the odd sign which is 6th house. So As 6th lord in 11th house, it is a standard combination for sickness of a child. Guru is exalted in Navamsa yet, he is in Badhak. That indicates that Guru wanted to prevent death and protect the child, however due to the badhak, John must have not probably listened or ignored some very good and helping advice.Guru is sthira karaka for Children, and is strong however afflicted by Mandi. 6. There is Charakaraka replacment involving Putrakaraka, and the previous Putra SHula dasha was dasha of Rudra for children, yet due to Guru infelunce the child survived 7. Now, THE MOST IMPORTANT INDICATOR is Saptamsa. Lagnesha in 5th house indicates loss of a child. 5th lord is Budha and is placed in 6th house which is usual combination for death of a child. Here, Mangal is conjoined which is the 5th lord from Rashi chart. The dispositor of Budha as 5th lord is Chandra in 11th house which confirms the loss. Normally, the son who is indicated by Budha conjoined neecha Mangal would have had a serious heart failure (Chandra and Ketu Yoga in 11th).Further Guru is in Marana Karak Stana in this chart as Shubapati. Guru dasha started and marana karaka stana operated, in Rashi, Guru is in badhak and its dispositor is in 8th house of Both Rashi and Navamsa. IN navamsa Chart Guru is in 12th house, and shukra as PK is in Marana Karaka stana. So, as far as I am concerned, the event is unfortunatelly clear. Normally, I usually advise people having such combiantion in Saptamsa not to have children. Hope this has helped.
