Effect of Night birth on Papakartari yoga

Respected Gurujan,

It was recently suggested to me that:

If Lagna is hemmed between malefics (say, Mars and Saturn) for a night

birth, the effect of papa-kartari yoga is reversed, i.e. it

strengthens the 1H indications instead of weakening it.

1) Is there any support for the above view in the classics?

2) If the malefics have paksha bala (i.e. birth is in Krishna-paksha),

but it is a day birth, will it still strengthen the lagna?

Earnestly looking for your guidance.

Om Namah Shivaya,

Dear Prashant,

This is the first time that I hear that malefics in papakartari

strengten the lagna. I was taught that for a night birth, malefics

become less malefics, and stop troubling the person for a night

birth, after the narajana dasha of the sign opposite of Surya

comes. In vimshottari dasha there should be more planets in 7th from

Surya and their dashas should come into picture. Under such a

scenario, night strong planets (Mangal, Shani and Chandra) can

become favourable and less malefics, but this cannot make

papakartari Yoga favourable. It can at least what we can say block

this Yoga.

Best wishes
