So far there was answer from him to your point 1. and point 4. Let me repeat them for you: wearing a stone on your finger is for karma, and wearing a stone on your neck is for thinking. Rest of your points, sorry, you'll have to wait, I can not help. I can only add you that there is an opinion about choosing finger for wearing a gemstone. That should only be ring finger (for just in case: that is third finger from thumb to small finger), because that finger corresponds to Jala (water) tatva. Of course, there are other opinions regarding which finger is for which tatva. I was learned this way. The only on line article I have found so far is on this link: http://varahamihira.blogspot.com/ Search for posts from 2004 and it is right bellow " Narayana Dasa " article (I was mentioning this link in this same thread twice so far...). I haven't found any on line article on Bhadakstahn so far. Maybe someone else can help you about this. The only convenient word that I can remember in English right now is " obstacles " , so you can just imagine, let's say Chinese wall, you want to climb it somehow and you have no ladder of a rope.
