This was from a 2005 lecture. He was explaning that fasting in tyaga and decreasing the effects of a graha which lords tha day one fasts. Similarly donating things related to that graha can also be used as a method. Now in the vedic remedies Sanjayji mentions that to break a sarpa dosha which has say moon breaking it, fasting on the day lorded by moon and praying to shiva can help. Similarly for jupiter breaking it, fasting on thursday and praying to Lord Jaganath and Balabhadra can help a lot. Now my confusion is, if fasting decreases effects of the graha as mentiond in his 2005 lecture then how can fasting on thursday or monday help in case of breakingf the sarpa yoga. Shouldnt we be increasing the effects of moon or jupiter to break the sarpa yoga? It would be really appreciated if someone can kindly clarify my confusion.-RegardsRajarshi "This above all: to thine own self be true!" - Hamlet Meet people who discuss and share your passions. Guest guest
Dear Pram I completely agree and understand what you have said, however my confusion is strictly frmo a jyotish point of view, does fasting increase or decrese effects of graha.. If it decreases the effects of graha then why is fasting on the day of benefic which breaks a sarpa yoga adviced.. that is what i could not understand.. or is fasting always a good remedy under any circumstance// -Regards RajarshiPrem Chopra <pramchopra1964 wrote: ~~ Om Namah Shivaayah ~~ Dear Rajarshi God Bless U AS you know the basic necessities of life is Food, Cloths, and Sweat Home. and these are the only basic Remedies for the human beings too because although if any person get a fast on any particular day then God is bind to give help to that needy person. and if any one gives Cloths to needy person and gives shelter to needy one the God helps them to give rewards because of showing their kindness towards humanity. Guest guest
Dear Rafal, Thanks for the answer. But I still have some confusion. Like in case the planet is the lord of the 2nd house then you had once istructed me not to fast on that day of the planet. As we dont want to deplete the food we eat. Same way i guess if the planet lords the AL then too i suppose fasting may not be best option as it depletes the AL.. So that created my confusion. When is fasting a good option as remedy and when should it not be done.. -Regards RajarshiRafal Gendarz <starsuponme wrote: kleem namah narasimhaayaDear Rajarishi, NamaskarYes, one should make the planet strong. Guest guest
~~ Om Namah Shivaayah ~~ Dear Rajarshi AS this is a type of reducing the effect Kasht or Shool but if only it signifies 11H and have connection with Lagna's SubLord or Sublord's StarLord. Fasting means you are secrifising your basic necessities for the betterment and to warding evil influences of the Planets. It will give rise to seek kindness from the god to have mercy and allow the planet to show some relief. Do you check chances of ascaping from the curse effects.
