Dear Sunil, Namaskar.

I you haven't already learnt the procedure from the Guru who initiated

you into the Gayatri mantra, then you are supposed to offer arghya

(water) to Surya and recite the Surya-astakshari: om ghrini

suryaadityaa. This should be done 3x108 times per day.

Dear Vistiji,No, I have not been initiated at all. In fact, I had written a message on this site "Pitr Dosha' which perhaps you may have seen. Zoranji has suggested Gayatri Mantra and Ugratara Mantra for me (message copied below). Besides that nothing has happened. I would sincerely like to have your advice. My birth details (if you need them) are DOB: 21/09/1955, TOB: 10.32 A.M., POB: Allahabad, India (81.51 E, 25.27 N) .RegardsSunil

You have asked for the problematic area of your chart and therefore the answers were not optimistic. There are others area in your chart which are ok. So,

1, Gayatri Mantra morning (strictly). It should be good if you can do at least 4 malas.

2. Ugratara Mantra. You should get it personally not over the mail. So do your best to find someone who can give it to you.

Your chart shows that you may have to wait till the end of year to get the mantra, but give your best.

Dear Sunil, Namaskar.

Doing the Surya-astakshari as i have written it 3x108 times is supposed

to be equal to Gayatri-chandah. We normally advise this mantra to

overcome pitri dosha, and i definitely recommend it for you.

Tara Sadhana has some strict requirements which you should seek through

a priest. Going to a temple which worships the mother and asking for

this advise will be the right path to take. I completely agree with

Zorans advise but would advise the surya-astakshari instead of the

Gayatri mantra for you for before mentioned reasons.

Then again, starting on a particular day? I guess it has to be started on Sunday. You should start this every day from a Sunday at Brahma Muhurta. You

should keep your right hand on a water pot whilst reciting the mantra.

Doing the Surya-astakshari as i have written it 3x108 times is supposed

to be equal to Gayatri-chandah. We normally advise this mantra to

overcome pitri dosha, and i definitely recommend it for you.

Tara Sadhana has some strict requirements which you should seek through

a priest. Going to a temple which worships the mother and asking for

this advise will be the right path to take. I completely agree with

Zorans advise but would advise the surya-astakshari instead of the

Gayatri mantra for you for before mentioned reasons.

I you haven't already learnt the procedure from the Guru who initiated

you into the Gayatri mantra, then you are supposed to offer arghya

(water) to Surya and recite the Surya-astakshari: om ghrini

suryaadityaa. This should be done 3x108 times per day.
