1. Friday FN: Nakshatra mandala: A study of the stars in the sky and

how they are grouped into the constellations; the derivation of the 27 and

28 nakshatra systems; the passage of planets in the 27 and 28 nakshatra

systems and their results; Kurma chakra is to be covered in some detail

 

2. Friday FN: Nakshatra devata: Discuss the original Vedic deities of

the nakshatra and how they are viewed with passage of time; derivation of

the devata and their nature; the mantras associated; how and when to use

these mantras for various purposes

 

3. Saturday FN: Nara chakra is extensively used by astrologers in

eastern India and it would be a good exercise to work on this and the

Narayana chakra which goes into the creation of body parts and their

sustenance. Other chakra like dimba chakra etc, if time permits.

 

4. Saturday FN: Nakshatra details: This is known to all and this

workshop aims at refreshing the memory and discussing the meanings and usage

of these details about the nakshatra.

 

5. Sunday: Graha-Nakshatra yoga is essentially the results of planets

in different nakshatra. Just like the results of planets in signs, we also

have things like results of planets in nakshatra, and this is a complete

subject and system of astrology in itself.

 

Material for the workshop like handouts including a little book on

nakshatra, will be provided at the venue.
