Dear Srividya,

The japa of Rama-- ram ram arm---- has a rhyming with " Om " and

hence may have benefits due to the vibrations it creates. Since Durga

or Vishnu do not create such vibrations it may not may be helpful to

utter those names as japa.

Dear Sir,

 

Thank you for your reply. I have written few books

writing Sri Ram. Lately I have been just chanting

Durga and somehow I am feeling very confident. I feel

calm and not getting bogged down by stress or

tensions. I hope this is not the right way to utter

the Mother's name.
