The 9th for Long journeys and 12th for Overseas journey should be connected to the 10th house of profession. People who fly international spend considerable amounts of time in foreign lands and presumably with foreigners as well.ie short distance travel , verses long distance should show up in charts as well. The chart sent by Rhoda of the skilled pilot, clearly has Ke in 10H in D-10. I would have expected Mars to feature prominently in 1-5-9 in Nav as precision and sharpness of the Mind are important for this type of job.
