All the astrologers were right about wearing: Coral, Ruby and Yellow

Sapphire as all are the trinal lords to the Leo lagna and it is a

standard principle to advise the same.

 

However, whilst the above is a standard procedure we must also

analyze the chart to see flaws and problems which certain gemstones can

help alleviate. In your friends chart Rahu is in the tenth house and

will give problems in career due to wrong decisions and mistakes. As

Rahu is the atmakaraka this will happen through cheating/deceit, but

will be the result of his own actions as Rahu is in the sixth from

arudha lagna... In other words 'he puts himself into a situation where

he will be cheated'.

These actions will further cause the position of the Sun in the chart

to fall under a grahana yoga/eclipse which needs to be remedied

otherwise he may loose all his good fortune (sun in ninth house).

 

Hence, the remedy is to make the Sun strong by wearing a ruby. This

gemstone is the most important for him among the three mentioned.

Further the ninth house has a curse which is further malefic due to the

position of Rahu in the tenth house.

Since 1996 he has begun the narayana dasa of Aries housing the planets

in the ninth house. During this period he will see problems in his

business, relationships/marriage as a result of the same issues. Tell

him to avoid any legal battles or court cases.

However, Pisces antaradasa is coming after May 2007 which will give him

relief from the problems due to the blessings of Guru. By worshipping

Sadashiva with the mantra: Om BhurBhuvaH SvaH Sambasadashivaaya Namah|

he will be able to tide over these problems.

 

His Dasamsa will reveal the opportunities for a job. Here the maha

and antara of Guru-Shukra are in Sadastaka from each other showing that

any jobs attained during this period will not be to his liking. Venus

is able to bring a job due to his rasi dristi on the fifth house, but

if he doesn't like the job then what can we do?

 

So for this reason I will advise him to worship Goddess Lakshmi

beginning from a Friday. He should continue this for atleast one year

after which he will see much better opportunities in the career sector.
