Guest guest
Hello list, I propose that the following modified chart for the USA be considered with 19° 32´ Scorpio rising. This chart is based on the pioneering work of Jorge Angelino and John TWB. One reason is that on 23 October 1929, when the US stock market collapsed and the Great Depression of the 1930 is considered to have begun, Ra/Su period was operating. Also, the nodal axis was stationary afflicting MEPs of H6 and H12 as well as L6 Mars in H12. This would have been a very bad for financial stability. Importantly, L10 Sun, and sub-period lord, was deblitated in Libra and H12. The government would have been powerless to help out. Indeed, one of the major criticisms of the depression stemmed from the inability of government to help in the financial crisis. As a result, the President at the time, Herbert Hoover, was voted out of office in 1932 and a new President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, elected on the platform of an activist and caring government. Moreover, the annual transit of the Sun through Libra seems to be more difficult when Sun period is operating and other malefic influences at work. This suggest the scope for more research concerning the Sun operating periods in this chart. A second reason is that in the 19° 32´Scorpio chart, it is L10 Sun that is closely aspecting H2 (and not L2 Jupiter) explaining the favourable influence on the wealth and status of the country and, importantly, giving the country a "Power status" as has earlier termed it, albeit with respect to another chart. A third reason, is the outcome of the stock market in the autumn and early winter months of 2005 in the chart with 15° 30´Scorpio rising. It has not yielded the expected outcome. A move of the ascending degree would help to explain this. A final reason, and if memory serves correctly, has suggested the 19/20th degree is potentially important for the USA (as well as the gold market). . In any event, this is a proposal for the consideration of the learned members of this list. This is not what was expected when a previous message was written on 16 October of this year. The reason given at that time to expect a decline in the stock market was that sub-period lord L4 Saturn on the most effective point of H9 was coming under the close affliction of - natal Rahu in H9 - transit Rahu in H5 - transit L6 Mars in H6. Moroever, transit nodes are closely afflicting their natal placement and the most effective points of the odd numbered houses in the chart. While the stock market did not decline in the second half of October 2005 as expected, it remained sluggish at the relatively high level of 10,200. However, in November it began to strengthen and this month has reached the same high level of around 10,900 seen earlier in March 2005, when the above difficult aspects have been quite close. The redeeming factor is that the transit aspect of the nodes are not stationary, thus relatively less difficult. However, the placement of Saturn over the natal nodes has been relatively slow moving, suggesting relatively greater difficulty on that account. Moreover, the mutual asepct of Saturn and Mars has been relatively close for some time and becomes exact this week. This performance of the stock market is all the more perplexing as L2 Jupiter is badly placed in H12. Not much support for the stock market would be expected from America´s wealth and status at this time. There are other factors, which could have been overlooked, that could possibly explain the resilience of the stock market at this time: - L11 Mercury, ruler of income, has remained strong in the past month while transiting Scorpio / H1. - L10 Sun, ruler of government, has passed through H1 and H2 in the past month and a half. - a currently weak Saturn, lord of fixed assets, is still emitting some favourable influence on H9, H11, H3, H6, transit L6 Mars and natal Rahu. However, I have some doubts if that is so, but it could, especially the strength of Mercury, which would have dual significations for the stock market, both as lord of income and as general indicator for trading. If this is so, as Mercury has this week entered old age in Scorpio, its support should give way, especially towards the end of the week. As a result, if this chart is to have predictive merit concerning the fortunes of the belleweather US stocks, a drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average should materialise this week, especially in view of tha many other long standing adverse factors. Ve/Sa/Ve period is running and hence the condition of Venus and Saturn in transit becomes important for the overall condition. Fortunately, sub-period lord Saturn is a functional benefic in the chart, and that is helpful. However, as the following transits show, Saturn is severly afflicted in transit, in addition to other transit problems: - transit L4 Saturn in H9 is closely afflicted by natal nodes - natal L4 Saturn is widely afflicted by transit nodes - transit L4 Saturn is afflicted by transit Rahu - transit L9 Moon in H6 on Monday and Tuesday weakens Saturn - transit L12 Venus in H1 is afflicting the most effective point (also H7) - transit L12 is closely afflicted by transit Rahu - transit Rahu in H5 is afflicting most effective point (also H1 and H11) - transit 10L Sun is entering H12, where it joins L2 Jupiter and L11 Mercury. Historically, the transit of Sun into its sign of debilitation, in mid October, has been associated with periods of panic in the US stock market, notably in 1929 and 1987. In view of the above, it will be interesting to follow what happens in the US stock market in coming days and weeks. If this is the correct chart for the country, as it appears to be, the development is expected to be adverse. Best regards, C PhotosRing in the New Year with Photo Calendars.
