dear, most of the shamshan have shiv temple.. as shiv is sangarak and his best place is shamshan... u can find such shamshan ghat easily... in jalandhar we have such in preet nagar... krsihan paks means... every lunar month have two half one hlf is called krishan paksh and other shukla... krishan is when the moon is decreasing its size... i.e after poornima...
