Collection of Mantras

The sacred scriptures of India contain two invaluable gems, of which no valuation can be made or it would be improper to bind them within limitations. To call them, 'Kalpavriksha' (tree which fulfills all the desires and wishes) would not be an exaggeration. Anybody can fulfill his or her desires by practicing while he or she is sitting under any of these two 'Kalpavrikashas' (Durga saptashati and Rudraashtaadhayayi). He can also do it with the help of a Brahmin. My effort is to categorize these mantras as per the requirement of an individual based on the sacred texts. The objective behind giving these mantras separately is based on an individual's devotion and faith in his specific deity. The following mantras are taken from 'Durgashaptashati'and Rudraashtadhyayi.

 

For the pacification of the planets and for neutralization of their ill effects - Nav Chandi.

For the removal of great fears - Nav Chandi. For attainment of peace - Nav Chandi. To get favours from an authority and administrative officers - Nav Chandi. For the accomplishment of tasks - Nav Chandi. For acquiring comforts, happiness and wealth -Durgaspatashati.- (Durga) For removal 0f 'State-fears' - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga) For defeating the opposition - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga)

For becoming free from debts - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga)

For liberation from bondages - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga)

For the welfare of the family - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga) and a long life. To prevent all kinds of calamities and distress - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga) For success in all walks of life and for acquiring authority and power - Durgaspatashati.- (Durga)

For the prevention of untimely death - Chanting the mantra of Durgasaptashati trayambak helps in the prevention of untimely death and for the attaining a long life.

For the prevention of untimely death (another mantra)SHOOLEN PAAHI NO DEVI PAAHI KHADGEN CHAAMBIKE GHANTA SWAHEN NAH PAAHI CHAAPAJYAMI SWAHEN CHA The chanting of the above mentioned mantra in combination with Durgasaptashati also prevents untimely death.

For the prevention of epidemic.ITTHAM YADAA YADAA BAADHAA DAANVOTTHAA BHAVISHYATI TADA TADAVATIRYAAHAM KARISHYAAMYARISANKSHAYAM The chanting of the above given mantra and then following it with the study of `Durgasaptashati' helps in the prevention of epidemic.

For regaining lost authority and wealthTATO VAVRE NRIPO RAJYAMVIBHRANSHYANYAJANMANI ATRAIVA CHA NIJAM RAJYAM HATSHATRUBALAMBALAAT The chanting of the above given mantra followed by the study of Durgashapti for 100 times and performance of oblation for ten times, helps in regaining the lost wealth and authority.

For the quick accomplishment of all kinds of task- Study of Durgashapti from beginning to end (Anulom), then followed by a reversed study (Vilom) again following it with a beginning to end study, helps in the quick accomplishment of any work.

For debt clearance-ANRINAA ASMIN The serialized chanting of this mantra in combination with the mantras of Durgasaptashati helps to clear out the debts.

For the attainment of learning and eliminating flaws in the speech -ITYUKTAA SAA TADAA DEVI GAMBHIRAANTAH SMITAJAGAU DURGA BHAGWATI BHADRA YAYEDAM DHAARYATE JAGAT When this above given mantra is chanted in combination with each mantra of Durgasaptashati, then a man becomes a great scholar. It also helps to eliminate the flaws in speech.

 

SANTAAN GOPAL MANTRA - If a person remains without progeny due to any reason, he should chant this mantra to solve his problem.AMTRA- OM DEVAKISUT GOVIND VASUDEV JAGATPATE DEHI ME TANAYAM KRISHNA TWAMAHAM SHARANAM GATAH (Chanting of this mantra for one lakh times and performance for ten thousand times (1/10th) helps in the acquirement of a progeny)

SANTAAN GOPAL STOTRA - Study of this stotra is very beneficial for a man. It makes him wealthy, healthy and wise. It also helps in getting a son. (This stotra should be chanted for 1008 times)

LISTENING TO HARIVANSHPURAN - Many ways are described in the scriptures for getting a son. According to Garuda Purana- `An intelligent man desirous of having a son must listen to the Harivanshpuran; if this effort does not bear fruits then he should listen to the `Shatachandi patha'; if even this effort does not bear fruits, then he should try to please Lord Shiva by listening to `Maharudra path'.By listening to `Harivanshpuran for nine days, even a barren woman can give birth to a son. Couple having daughters can also be benefitted and get a son.

VISHNU YAAG - This particular oblation should be performed for the destruction of sins, not only of present birth but also of previous births. It also helps in attaining to the abode of Lord Vishnu.Performer of this oblation gets liberated from all the miseries of this world and attains peace even in the other world. If, due to any reason, a man remains without a progeny, it helps in the expansion of the lineage, by removing all types of flaw.

 

The chief deity of this oblation is Lord Vishnu.

Chantings of 10,000 Purush sukta are made.

Havan is performed for one tenth of the chanting i.e. 1000 times.

If a devotee is desirous of performing an independent `havana', then it should be performed by chanting the Purush sukta for ten thousand times.
