about rashi and nakshatra.... As laalkitab has said, " Rashi Chord Nakshatra Bhulaya, Na hi koi Panchang liya, Mesh rashi khud lagan ko gin kar, 12 pakkey ghar maan liya" Now we have 28 nakshatra and 12 rashi.. the last 28th is abhijit... so adding them we get.. 28+12=

40 but as it is not a good number so making it closer to 43.. there are basically many other reason behind it.. if we start any upay from any day(as we have 7 day in a week) then if we perform this upay for 43 days , it will end on same day.. like we have started upay from sunday.. then if we do it for 43 days then it will be done for 7 sundays and on 43rd day
