Dear Friend,

Nadi dosha is the dasha which if present can nullify the other 28

gunas in compatibility analysis.

it may signify early death of partner if other indications support

in chart of any of the couple or seperation due to ego problems and

misunderstanding.

 

This is considered to be the most important and at the same time the

most significant agreement.Nadi means several things but in

reference to astrology, it signifies nervous energy indicating the

physiological and hereditary factors.Ayurveda mentions three Nadis

i.e. Vatha (wind), Pitha (bile) and Sleshma - Kapha (phlegm).The boy

and the girl should belong to a different temperament. The three

Nadis are ruled by the different constellations as follows:-

VATA :aswini,punarvasu,uttara

phalguni,hasta,jyeshta,mula,satabhisha,purvabhadra,ardra

 

PITTA

:bharani,pushya,purvaphalguni,chittra,anuradha,poorvashada,dhanishta,utt\

arbhadra,mrigashira

 

SLESHMA (kapha):

krittika,ashlesha,makha,swati,vishaka,uttarshada,sravan,revati,rohini

 

 

If the constellation of the boy and the girl fall in different

categories,

then agreement between the couple will be good.

 

There are some additional rules given in KP reader but I cat find it now

regarding the effects of nakshatra falling in differnt categories.

If Nadi agreement is not present on the basis of the Nakshatras,

then the same may be reckoned taking into account the Nakshatra

Padas. Thus, the different quarters will be governed by the three

humours (Nadis) thus:

 

Aswini 1 Aswini 2 Aswini 3

Bharani 2 Bharani 1 Aswini 4

Bharani 3 Bharani 4 Krittika 1

Krittika 4 Krittika 3 Krittika 2

 

 

Beginning from Aswini 1, the counting should be done forwards and

backwards in threes, as given above.

 

The unit ascribed for this agreement is 8.

 

Nadi dosha may be ignored if the rasi lords of couple are mutual

friends or same planet is lord of rasi in both charts.

 

If nadi dosha is still present in view of all above factors then the

best remedy is to avoid marriage between the concerned couple but if

marriage has been already performed then remedies for rahu as per

natal position of rahu in both charts should be performed

individually by both every year as well as homa for rahu shanti

every year.
