For some in naadi it may come to visit temples that are associated with raasi.

One such is Sivaloganathar Temple, which is for Rishaba raasi and Sivan in this

temple is for rasi and kalabairavar is for all rasis.

In this temple one will find Sadur kalabairavar. Here the kalabairavar is 4

(sadur).

How to reach:

Take following buses: 2A, 2, 38 from Kumbakonam, alight at Thiru visai nallur

Village which is about 8 km from Kumbakonam Bus stand. Or take a Auto, they will

charge around 300 for round trip from bus stand to temple and back to bus stand.

Before one proceed to the temple, buy all necessary things that one is

instructed in naadi in Kumbakonam itself, as there is no shop, hotel in that

village only 16 houses and three streets.

Temple is big and open from 6 am to 12 Pm and again 3 pm to 8 pm. Nearest

location to the temple is Tirubuvanam which is about 4 Km. But buses are very

rare from here, so come from Kumbakonam. Alight at Thiru visai nallur stop, take

immediate left in the bus stop a single village road, walk for 2 Kms, the road

will end up in the temple. one will see directional information board on the

wall at the corner of the junction next to bus stop.

If driving or coming by suto, take the road that goes to Tirubhuvanam via

Kumbakonam Govt collage. This road will branch off from Madras Road after

cauvery bridge.

There are lot of temples around kumbakonam that are not famous but has

significant as parihara temple. There is also one Raghu temple called Adi

raghu(Adi tirunageswar) temple in vaideswaran kovil/Sirkali.

Sadurkalabairavar is worshipped for clearing blockages in Marriage, business,

debt etc.

Normally, white lotus is offered to kalabairaver here. All items told in the

naadi like archana flowers, food to feed are available in Big bazzar street near

Adi kumbeshwarar Temple. Surprisingly one will not find people asking for arms

here. Even I found it difficult to give food in that temple.
