Dear All,

Like to share my first Nadi experience an like to hear your practical

criticism.

I had my first Nadi reading a week ago. I was eagerly anticipating as

he had just flew into my country.

Session started and it was quite formal. He explained briefly and

started going through my leaf. As it was a foreign country, he could

not bring all the bundles. I had to pre-provide my birth date " for him

to bring shortlisted bundles of leaves " .

He asked me numerous questions. From how many letters are there in my

father's mother's name to " second name first letter is .... " " third

letter is this.... " ....almost basically having gone from A-to-Z!!!! I

was like, comeon, if this is the way, anyone get eventually get a name

right.

As the evening progress, he could not find my leaf!!! Non leaf matched

well. After me were another 2-3 clients whom has their leaves found.

I subsequently saw him 4 days later for a second try as he " had other

bundles to check thru " and within 5 -6 leaves, he murmured out my

parents names and wife's name. I was startled of course. Generally,

the reading depicted my life well and told me quite a bit of info.

However, I look back over the 2 sessions the number of " checking

questions " he has asked me, I kind of also " discount his real

authenticity " .

I finished the session paying about US$250 for the remedies. 96 days

of Shiva prayers basically.

To be frank, now, I am still not sure and like to invite comments and

criticisms.

Thank you.

Hi KW,

Since he had asked you many questions and also had your birth chart

with him that could be chance that he cheated you. A way to find out

the truth would be to see whether the reading had said something that

you only know about. Maybe a secret or something about you personality.

I generally don't like going to readers who ask many many questions. 5

to 6 questions is standard. The are readers out there who can do a

reading just with your thumbprint alone

With many thanks

Hi KW and all,A friend and I recently attempted to have our leaves read on the same day by a visiting foreign Nadi leaf reader. We both had to provide our birth dates a few days before the session and provided our thumbprints on the session day itself.

Our experience were somewhat similar to KW.My friend went first and was asked similar questions, similar to the way KW were asked. Her leaf though was found on the same day. At the end of the session, she was quoted an amount that includes taxi fare, reading services and less than 2 months of remedies prayer services. She asked if she could opt out of the remedies prayer services as she knew of some temples in our home country that could possibly provide for the same. The reader politely explained that it was better for his master to do it. My friend did not know how to say no, so she paid a few hundred dollars for the whole thing.

My friend and I did not have opportunity to speak to each other before my session. So I did not know how or what questions were asked. When it was my turn, the reader could not find my leaves, so we arranged for a session on another day as he claims there were other bunches of leafs brought into the country, and may matched my birth date and thumbprint type.

In the end, I did not do the reading after learning of my friend's experience, even though the reader was mentioned certain things about my friend's which I know cannot be culled from birthdate astrology.

I feel that the reader used the process of elimination by asking alphabets to derive the names. This reminds me of magicians who use the same process of eliminating consonants and vowels alphabets to derive names.

Also, I find it odd that they do not provide prescribed remedies prayers and let us have the option do it in our home country, especially when we do have some temples in our homes country that have been established for decades.

Anyway, if any of you out there know of an authentic Nadi leaf reader, let me know. I am seeking one who does not ask for birth date and do not  derive names using the process of elimination. If that same one does not use thumbprints, that would be fantastic.
