Hello Everyone:I'm a new member to this forum and i have been following some email threads on naadi astrology here and thought this might be a good forum to clear my doubts regarding my naadi prediction.I recently had my naadi leaves read and the general chapter said my efforts to finalize my marriage with my lover will lead to differences of opinion with family etc. Later it said i will have gandharva vivah. It is true that i have been finding it tough to convince my family for last 1.5 years although i have not lost hope and i have been trying as hard as i can. I searched the internet and the explanation for gandharva vivah says about elopement and without family consent etc. We honestly wouldn't love to have a marriage like that.My question is as far

as naadi is concerned does Gandharva vivah mean just love marriage where the boy and girl chose their life partners or does it literally mean marriage without families approval ?Has anyone got prediction for love marriage in naadi and if yes, what was it termed as and did you have family consent in your marriage ?Your help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone in this forum for reading this email with patience.Best Regards-Anjali

Hello All:I listened to the tape again and there were references to Gandharva in the reading earlier like

"Gandharva Eamaartam thaan" and the reader translated it as i will have

obstacles and sorrows trying to marry the person of my choice.and then these were the exact tamil words from the naadi reader about my marriage:"Mael Athilae Serraipu Manam Verumbum Manga...". Sorry i could not understand the last word. I think it means spouse.Considering these two references about my marriage, i don't know how to relate all of them and piece them together.Does it mean love marriage and does it say anything about family ?Thanks again for your help everyone-AnjaliAnjali Kurup <anjali_kurup31 Sent: Sunday, December 28, 2008 1:02:10 PM Basic question on gandharva vivah

Dear Miss Anjali,

The meaning for Ghandharva vivah according to Nadi Jothidam refer to

love marriage (with or without concurrence of parents). They mean

specifically the method of choosing life partner only. There must be

similarity of certain indications in both horoscopes like:

laknam(or)Rasi- Rishabam,Thulam,Meenam where active places of Venus

which will mainly lead to these affairs.

With regards,

Michael Rayar.
