Guest guest
Fellow Nadi Lovers & Critics, I am here once again to share with you all how my first time experience last month with this great " Nadi Shastra " is changing my life... Let me begin by saying that....It's just 1 month that I had my first time experince with this Nadi Shastra....you have seen my email earlier on how satisfying was my experience was with the Nadi Reader...and now let me say that...one of the predictions that I was told last month has happened 2 weeks ago. I had no words when I saw that incident happening other than saying " Seeing is believing " . Coming back to the subject of this email...How Nadi Shastra changed my life ? I am least bothered about if my predictions will come true or not in future, but Nadi Shastra greatly influenced me in becoming part of a very very nobel cause. After my experience with Nadi, I have become an active volunteer of " Sankara Eye Foundation " (SEF in short) based out of USA with a vision of " Every state in india should have such a free eye hospital by the year 2020 " . My heartfelt gratitude to Mr.Shashikant Oak & Mr. Uday Mehta who helped me experience this Nadi Shastra which inturn made me take part in this noble cause for long time in future in my life. Please visit the web site of SEF USA @ http://www.giftofvision.org ( USA Specific ) http://www.sankaraeye.com/tosupport.html (India specific) Our mission is to initiate and drive community eye care activities in India by working with eye care organisations such as Sankara Eye Society, which runs the Sankara Eye Hospital in Coimbatore. The majority of our fundraising effort is achieved through fundraising events, booths in major events, advertising and working with major donors and by mass communication like this. In California, USA we have about 250 volunteers and over 450 volunteers in other states of USA. We are all meeting this month end for 10th Anniversary of this SEF, USA and to scale up our efforts better in the coming years. We are all exicited about it. Through these fundraising efforts, SEF, USA has played a significant role in increasing the number of free surgeries eight fold to its current projected annual rate of about 70,000. SEF's mission is to realize the goal of 20/20 vision for the people of India by the year 2020 One can take part in this noble cause by simply donating as minimum as $30 (or equivalent INR).. Funds are collected for specific programs such as: • Open an Eye a Month ($30 per month) • Other specialized programs such as corneal transplants. Funds collected under specific programs are sent in its entirety to India. In addition, SEF, USA provides extensive feedback to its donors – on how the money is used. This feedback has led to a large number of repeat donors With over 70,000 eye surgeries annually -- and a rural outreach camp every WEEK [not one week has been missed in the last 25 years] – the Sankara Eye Hospital has become a model institution that blends the leading medical technologies and practices in community eye care with the best practices in management and human resource development. Last year SEF, USA raised about 3 million dolalrs and completed the hospital and training center in Bangalore. The center is to be opened on March 3rd, 2008. SEF is where it is today because of its committed volunteers. To realize our mission of 20/20 by 2020 we have to grow our list of volunteers. There are many ways you can volunteer, please visit the website for more details. Please consider SEF for your generous contributions if you think our efforts are good. For me, supporting this noble cause has become part of my daily routine...every day I spend sometime on it. OK...now, the most important thing...in this commercial world as things have become difficult to distinguish good from bad...you might question " How efficiently the funds are utilized " ? Yes, I questioned that too and it all started with my communication with one of the veteran volunteer(or visionary) and my own research about this Sankara Eye Foundation and SEF, USA....and finally my intution of " Go for it to support this noble cause " -- Now, I consider my association with SEF, USA as lifetime opportunity to support this noble cause. I am fortunate to be associated with the group of volunteers at SEF, whose selfless and determined efforts towards our mission motivate me. Any questions, feel free to shoot. With many thanks, Srinivas. ______________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
