We will appeal all the members to contribute Rs. 100/- per head. This will give us a base fund to do our preliminary activities related to research & also we can show to the people/organisations to who we will approach for sponsorship that we ourselves are committed to the cause & putting certain amount collectively from our end for this purpose. We will need to see with which bank the A/c should be operated for this purpose & under what name the account should be opened. We will prepare one simple membership form to be filled in for this purpose by the interested members. We will try to get it printed & get help from those who may not be on the net but interested to participate in this research.2. Create a database of the members & sort it statewise/districtwise – form smaller groups based on this which can meet personally if required & the functional groups may be formed on the geographical level. We will form core group to coordinate activities of functional groups & to represent the external world.3. Need to formulate our basic introductory one page informative letter for circulation. Another specific letter backed with the introductory letter addressed to the possible sponsors & to the nadi centres to get their support for this work.4. Scope of activities to be defined: Mr. Oak has proposed to collect 100 sample nadi leaves/scanned copies which we will give to the nadi reader/s for interpretation, translating it into Tamil & then in Hindi/English. Simultaneously, they should prepare some sort of dictionary of words as mentioned on leaves & its corresponding meaning in Tamil, Hindi, English. We may get this work done, vouched by some other expert nadi reader to ensure that the information collected/compiled is uniformly agreed by the nadi readers & it is not just based on one reader's interpretation at individual level. This work will help us to show the world the nature of details which are written on those leaves. 5. Purpose of the Research to find out answers to the following questions: A. the claim that the information is collected from primary Q & A session or thru informal discussion by other colleagues of nadi reader with the jataka & then the same information in collective form is read from the leaf which may or may not be written on the leaf. Whether this claim holds good? B. the past, present matches, but sometimes the chare does not match exactly. Nadi reader says that it is as per Tamil panchang. We need to verify whether as per Tamil Panchang, the planetary position can be different as per Tamil Panchang? Can we verify the chart as per the leaf, as per the Tamil panchang of that date matches? If yes, what can be the reason for this? If no, then whether it is a mistake in the leaf & then can we logically say that this mistake might have happened at the time of copying the leaf from the original one? Whether the chart really plays any role in the future prediction of the Jataka or not? If not, then can we ignore this fact as not material wrt the outcome of the nadi reading? C. It seems that many nadi readers agree that there are some fake nadi readers/leaves around. Some bad experience of some of the people may also suggest this. I think that there are following important things to have correct nadi reading: authenticate nadi leaves, preferably passed on from generations & expertise of nadi reader in his interpretation skills. Can we arrive at some tests for both these criteria's to differentiate authenticate nadi leaf from the fake one (if any) & the expert nadi reader from the semi skilled nadi reader ( we need to keep in mind that the expertise comes from no. of years experience along with other factors such as level of training & the individual traits of the nadi reader & his approach towards the work). D. Past & Present come right but future goes wrong or it comes right to only certain % which is below 50% Can we appeal to all the members & thru pamplets in circulation for those who are not on the internet but have checked their nadi reading to share their experience about nadi reading in the following form: Name of the person, address & contact details, name/address & contact details of the nadi reader, year of nadi reading & then facts. We need to decide at what level the facts should/can be collected. I propose the categories as: Names coming correct - of the person, his father, mother, spouse if married - answer to be given 100% correct else, specify which name/s came wrong (some spelling mistakes will not form to be categorised as wrong) Day, Date of birth, time, planetary position - answer to be given 100% correct else, specify what came wrong About Past Events - just in terms of % or in details such as - no. of brother/sisters & the person is elder/younger or so, house owned/rental, education, profession, marital status, relation with parents/spouse, any major disease, pregnancy status/miscarriages/abortion in case of ladies. Shanti kandam/diksha kandam/ausadhi kandam - whether advised in general chapter to be checked? Whether the person checked it? Whether he performed what was mentioned in the same & strictly in the form/sequence prescribed. What was their experience in relation to their problems after performing these things? Future events - whether major future events as mentioned in the nadi reading have come true in the lapsed time from the date of reading till date - in terms of events like marriage, birth of children, education, job, financial status, health status, etc. We can define the form, print it & circulate the same with introductory letter around India/ keep it at the nadi centres. For those who are available on the net, we will keep/circulate the soft copy to be filled in & returned in soft/hard form. We need to decide the contact no. & address - statewise/districtwise for correspondence. E. Based on the experiences collected as above, can we give some rating to the exclusive/updated list of nadicenters on our group site which can be of great help to the new seekers who are always confuse to visit which centre? This can make nadi readers conscious for providing the best possible service; incase if there are any fraud readers, they will either have to stop their activity or to start it in authenticate manner which will be in the interest of the nadi seekers & also will reduce the bad publicity of the nadi astrology F. many people are confused doubt about the link between the thumb impression & the nadi leaf/bundle. Can we invite the nadi readers to share the basic concept/logic behind relating the thumb impression to arrive at particular bundle/s which is likely to contain the particular leaf of the particular person. It will help to bring out the science behind this. Also why right thumb for men & left thumb for women? G. Are their different types of nadis such as - Mantra Nadi & Tantra Nadi & Jeev Nadi.Can we collect some data from the nadi readers on this? I understand that there are 36 mantra nadis & 36 tantra nadis. Mantra nadis are not based on astrology but based on some lower level powers - yaksh/yakshani or the one called as 'karna pishachha'? In such cases, the past/present comes right but future goes wrong or come true with limited % Tantra nadis - based on astrology & the divine knowledge of the ancient sages - alongwith the past/present; most of the future events come true. We can establish link between the astrology & the predictions made in the nadi reading? Can we form the test to differentiate what is mantra and & what is tantra nadi? H. Can we do some research on Jeev Nadi? Whether it will/can be nature of mantra andi/tantra nadi or totally different form? Can we document the experience of jeev nadi in same process as mentioned above (may be with some modification - i.e. question asked,answer given, future compared with the answer given)6. we need to find out whether any researches are already done on this subject, if yes, get hands on it to avoid any duplication & get help from the research work. One of our group member has finished his research & he is planning to publish it in book form. Can we get help from the same?Also can we get hands of already published books/material on this subject? can we get help from the libraries where material related to this subject matter is available?7. A team of 3 persons should be ideal.If you can get friends or Naadilovers from Banglore that will be nice or any body can join from Chennai or near by place. Any volunteers please? The letters will be drafted accordingly. The places and persons to be contacted will be told. there will be prior appointments for scheduled and meaningful meetings at least two if not more. The persons should meet the head and deliver the letter, with the help of interpreter if needed. Some times it creates misunderstanding if the point is not understood properly. One can try to get answers to his personal questons from Prashna Kandam and also further guidence and blessings of Maharshees for collection of daata and the steps to be taken further. Thus it will be personally beneficial visit too. No arguments with any one.In the first meeting there will be Zero response. As you are stranger to them. More and more visits and letters will change the attitude of theirs in due course of time. We have to win over their confidence and willing assistance.It will be very slow, long and tiring process. Dear All, I can see that many of us have experienced that in nadi reading, though the past is accurate, future does not materialise as per the reading... there are some people who have already done lot of study on this like Mr. Oak, Prof. Galtage - who have tried to find out the possible reasons for future going wrong... & the fact is that though such bad experiences are happening, there are some good experiences as well..... there are many cases where future events have happened as per the nadi reading..... & the cases where future has not materialised as per the reading, in almost all cases, the past & present was accurate & we need to find out scientific justification as to how it can happen, if we want to say that this is all fake.... some people think that as far as past data is concerned, that information is wisely taken by the reader from us only during the question/answer session, which may be happening in few nadi centres & in other cases also, it may be true to some extent, but it is not that all our information is disclosed during the question/answer session... there will be always lot of information which we have not disclosed to the nadi reader & still the same appears in the nadi reading.... & this makes some of us to work on nadi research....
