Challenges before Naadi centres In the session “Challenges before Naadi centres”. You are to discuss the problems you face and the steps you are taking for the better service to the

visiting persons. Some of the points are mentioned bellow for your consideration and reply at the time of discussion. 1. The standard of translators is often poor. Many feel that the predictions are going incorrect because of inexperience of reader and / or translator. What steps you suggest to improve the situation? 2. Who and where the Naadi readers are given the training of leaf reading? 3. Are you happy with their standard? Is it possible to train the young persons from villages of Tamilnadu under your guidance? 4. What efforts are being made to give some training of spoken English classes to the Naadi

readers? 5. How the gifts (Money, Fruits, Clothing’s or any thing in kind) given by the devotees are distributed to the poor and needy? 6. How, Where and who performs chanting of prescribed Japams as stated in 14th Chapter? 7. Can this be not done at your centre, instead of at Vaideeshwaran Koil? 8. Have you formed any association of your Naadi astrologers of the area or city to safeguard your centre from some unscrupulous persons who are out to malign the name of Naadi and astrology in general? 9. Have you sought the services of any

reputed advocate in case you are confronted with unruly mob coming to stop your business by Rationalists? 10. Have you met the near by Police Station and asked them to come to see the method of predictions? So that in future they will be aware of the nature of the Prediction method and your honesty. 11. How you and your all staff keep up the traditions of Sadhana and Japams? 12. Do you perform Aarathi and Puja before you start your profession? 13. Is it possible to keep the centres open up to late hours, say up to 9Oclock? Many persons can not come to the centre because of clashing of timings with their working Hours. 14. Do you keep the Visitors Book for the comments? So that in future

at any time you can refer to them for confirmation of their experience in case of dispute or any interview etc. 15. Are persons working under you are insured for medical coverage? 16. How do you ensure the person sends enough money to home? 17. What facilities you offer when they are in need of personal problems? 18. Generally often question is asked as to why you do not give the leaf to the person ? 20. Which way we the Naadi lovers, who believe that the predictions are written on the leaves could help your centre to safe guard from the criticism of non- believers? You are requested to discuss the above mentioned points with your senior partners and Gurujis and the prepare answers preferably in writing so that meaningful outcome of this conference could be achieved. After the conference, you are requested to inform the implementation of the points discussed. You can display them in your centre. Wing Commander Shashikant Oak. Pune, India.
