Hi All,

Here is the interesting and spectacular experience I promised. One

of my uncles had this experience in Mayiladuthurai, which is close

to V.Koil, which is the epicenter of Nadi astrology in India.

My uncle and aunt had not had a baby for a very long time (1o

years). They had tried every thing under the sun, consulted every

vedic astrologer, to no avail. My uncle was a Nadi Sceptic. I think

part of the reason for this is that Mayiladuthurai (Mayavaram) is so

close to V.Koil...hence familiarity breeds contempt. So people in

and around V.Koil are infact huge sceptics.

So being skeptical he never consulted Nadi. Finally out of

desperation he succumbed, but still refused to go to V.koil. He

instead went to village in Kancheepuram to consult the Nadi.

He checked general, children gandam. The Nadi basically told him

that according to his bad karma in the past he is supposed to never

have a child. However due the good Karma of his wife, there is a

possibility of having not one but two children. It went on to say

that he should check the shanti gandam for the details.

The shanti gandam explained that despite his many visits to many

temples the Bad karma is still very strong. It said that the only

way to get rid of it was to Walk to all the " Aru padai Veedu " ie the

six holy hills of Lord Muruga in Tamil Nadu. Mind you it said " Walk

to " meaning that from his home he needed to walk to these temples.

It further said that after he completes the pilgrimage he should

come back and check the Nadi.

My uncle at this point was desperate. He had exhausted all his

options (medical and otherwise). Mind you this was more than 30

years ago and hence medical options in India were not that advanced.

So he did the unbelievable. He took a ONE YEAR VACATION from work

and WALKED TO THE SIX MURUGAN TEMPLES. After completing this set of

pilgrimages (Year and half later) he went back to the Nadi.

The Nadi said Rishi Vishwamitra (Kausika Nadi) was very happy that

he had followed directions to the letter. The Nadi asked him to

listen to the medicine Gandam.

The Medicine Gandam listed a bunch of Siddha Herbal medicines to be

given to his wife so that she can conceive and have a baby. Armed

with this written instruction, my uncle visited a friend who was a

Siddha doctor. This doctor friend was able to identify 90% of the

medicines and confirmed that these were used to strengthen the

Uterus and aid in child conception and birth. However he had NOT

heard of the rest 10% of the Medicines.

At this point my Uncle was pretty tired. He thanked his friend,

obtained the Siddha Medicines (90%) and started giving it to his

Wife. Lo and Behold, after taking the medicine for One whole year,

they got pregnant with their first child.

By the way the Nadi had accurately predicted the sex of the first

baby as a Girl and the second one as a boy, and further that the boy

would be born 5 years after the girl. Interestingly it did not

predict when the girl would be born....

Finally after 16 married years they had their first girl child,

completely healthy and vibrant. Life was bliss. Four years went by

like a dream. They tried and succeded in getting pregnant with their

second child. As predicted by the Nadi their second child was a boy,

exactly 5 years later.

In the elation of enjoying their children, the nadi reading had

faded away in their memory...until destiny struck...their Son the

second child developed a serious skin rash/infection that took over

his entire body. There was no doctor in town who could treat him...

even in Chennai. So my desperate uncle went back to the Nadi.

Here he was shocked....the nadi said that the Rishi (Kashikar) was

aware of his Son's skin problems and to avoid these he had suggested

some skin related herbs for his wife several years ago.

Unfortunately this was 10% that was missed by the Siddha Doctor. The

Nadi continued that this was part of his prarabdha that was destined

not to be solved and hence the problem.

It further instructed him to go to chennai and seek a doctor who

would have studie in England and had the name of Lord Krishna. My

uncle came to chennai, found a young London returned doctor by the

name Krishna, took his son to him. The Doctor identified the skin

problem as a rare form of pigmentation disease and imported

experimental drugs from England and eventually in 2 years cured him

completely.

The boy in question is a brilliant software eng in Microsoft today.

His sister is happily married to business tycoon in Bangalore. All

is well that ends well...

How is that for a Nadi Story?

This is a truelu great life experience on naadi astrology.

Most of the readings done more than 2 decades back seem to be more

accurate than the readings of today, wonder if commercialisation has

eaten into this ancient art.

Who is this naadi reader in kancheepuram.? Is he still around ?
