sri guruji (prof.K.S.Krishnamurthy) was born at Thiruvayaru(Lat

10.48N;79.15E)in keelaka Varsha of the jovian cycle of years

(Barhaspathyavarsha) on the 17th of the Tamil month of Aippasi

(Malayalam month Thulam) on Sunday,,1-11-1908 at 11 hrs 58 minutes

Local Mean Time (Abhijit Muhurtha) in Sravana Nakshatra,sukla paksha

ashtami Vishti Karana and Soola Yoga.

One gathi or 24 minutes to on either side of the apparent local noon

(dhina madhya) when Sun is at the Meridian constitutes the A bhijit

Muhurta which is consider as aspicious.

THe Sravan Nkshtra Day in the month of Simha (Avani) is celebrated

every year as " Onam " by the Keralites.

prof.K.S.Krishnamurthy(The great astro guru)was sent forth by the

LOrd into the world in Abhijit Muhurtha on a Sravana Nakshatra day in

the month of AIPPSAI(Thulam) when SUN transited the Airy sign of the
