Dear Gaiduji & Dear Seth Sahebji,

 

Let me express my thoughts and experience over 45 years of practice of

Astrology both of Vedic and KP systems, here in the USA and in India.

My senior ( who got me interested in this subject..50 years back) was an army

officer kin of mine.He had a very sound understanding of basics, relied too

much (and very successfully indeed) on Gochara for timing the events,but his

skill of underplaying influence of some of the obvious configuration and its

effect in the horoscope, could be explained in no other term than' purely

intuitional'. This is to what even Krishamurthiji refers, in many of his

explanatory writings.

Now this man will never charge :when asked he will point out to a small carton

box and say 'if want ; leave in the box whatever pleases you.'

For days he will not open the box (he had of course ,at that time, good

amount in monthly pension of a retiree army officer).He discouraged any

publicity and desisted from home visits even to heavy weights like senior

officers or ministers.Only by word of mouth had a large number of referrals.

Couple of times ,he asked me to open the box, the amounts inside were far too

much by arithmetic's of 'x times the number of consul tees'.

My own experience when I started in the similar way too is equally supportive

of this strategic method. It has double benefits.it does not discourage 'visit'

for fear of high charges and when pleased and satisfied which they are if you

are good..leave much more than the 'normal'.
