Comming to your point, yes, you are correct that there is no point in predicting for the native where the proper lease of life is not there. Being a KP forum I will give ans in terms of KP. When you are getting a natal chart it must be varified first for it's authenticity of data especially time of birth so that proper cusps can be fixed. Then the first sub-lord should be judged along with the star lord and lord of the 1st cusp. Once asertaining the approximate life span left from the time of judgement the predictions must be given.
