Whether a planet is benefic or malefic can be only decided by

looking at its sublordship. if a planet suppose guru is a strong

significator of 2 and 11 but if it is a strong significator of 1, 10,

then this guru is malefic to that particular jataka due to the

negation of the sublord.

looking at the karakatva of a planet, eventhough if mars is strong in

the chart, if it is in the sub of negative houses, then this mars

is unable to help a jataka who wants to commit suicide.

A planet may be benefic to a person but malefic to his Son. " Food for

one may be poison for others " as rightly said by Prof.KSK.
